  1. Azraelle, You got it right on the first guess! -I'll buy you a beer whenever we happen to meet. I prefer my AS compared to RA, because AS can be kept under control by the individually required amount of exercises (remember the old motto that states that "A rolling stone gathers no moss"), while RA (at least with the current medical knowledge) is a more or less fast downhill experience... :( My lower spine and back is (already) totally solidified, but it has been static like that for over 20 years by now, so I cant complain. -Fact is that I have gotten compliments on my posture sometimes. 5" heels are the ideal for me, and I can walk all day in them without getting tired, but a few pair of shoes like a pair of size UK10/US12 from Hayway advertised as having a 5" heel were in fact closer to 6" (I am sure Dr Shoe can give the best explaination about how a shoemaker tries to keep the "look" of the shoe "intact" as the size goes up or down) are still too high in the heels for me to walk unhindered in. -Then I also stay at 4" heels when I expect "cross-country" activities as it requires some margin when walking down steep slopes... 2. If I this time manage better to understand your point, it seems like we are both having similar thoughts about what is desirable when trying to find a female that inspires you. -Then comes the problem of making *them* interested in reverse... I also (I suppose you meant this too) find women with "Dolly Parton" boobs to be pathetic (like M J with his rotted away nose). 3. Many years ago I and some colleagues were on a business trip to Rieti just outside Rome in Italy, and we found that we had a few hours to spare in the end before the return flight, so we decided to stroll around in the "village". Just as we came close to a school the bell rang and all the kids, apparently only girls at the age of perhaps 10-12 years of age, came "storming" out in the street. -All were in HH's with at least an 3"+ heel and they ran, used jumping ropes, played those games where two players keep a rubber band stretched out a few meters using their lower legs, while the others "stream" while making "dance steps" twisting and turning the bands. -We almost did not believe our eyes at the apparent indifference to being able to wear heels during these activities... I know a lot of Italian people and have been told that a lot of (girls) kids start out very early with HH's as they are much more fashion conscious than, forinstance, us Swedes. -Still it was amazing to see. 4. I snipped this from Azraelles post: "to tilt hips forward as far as possible, thus increasing the curve or "sway" in the small of the back, at same time relaxing abdominal muscles--then walking in heels can be very graceful and natural feeling, and can even forget you are wearing them for a time while walking along." This is one of the mayor reasons for my own use of HH's as this change in posture allows me to severely cut down the need/use of pain-killers for my (incurable) back problems. The fact that I also do like the look of HH's are just an extra bonus... TallSwede

  5. Smudgeur, I would not mind having a pair like yours. How much did you have to pay for them? Also do you happen to know the largest size they are available in and (perhaps even) if Faith are known to bother with mail-order clients? TallSwede

  6. Bubba136, I think that you have to try explain these following quoted lines to my thick head: "Breasts are for women. As for their size, although nicely proportioned women - breasts, hips, waste and legs - tend to deliver the ideal silhouette I've always thought that anything over a mouthful was a waste." -A mouthful of what and/or which would be the waste? TallSwede

  7. -Sorry, no I don't, But I could not resist the opportunity to mention that I (a while back) found another pair of "male" HH burgundy shoes like the black ones at the same time, and at the same weird shoe shop, also in size EU44 and otherwise similar, being "all leather" which also requires a rubber resole of them before outdoor use -Or else... TallSwede

  8. SH, I have not too long ago made a real good deals from a retailer who apparently runs the shop because he (they (his female partner (I assume) is also doing her bit...)) goes to all the trouble every morning (including weekends) to drench (*yes*) 8-10 very large tables *outdoors*, but covered by a sort of roof, with the "same old pairs" mixed with new items. So I got, as an example, two pairs of "Male" shoes with 3"+ HH's size EU44 for roughly EU15/USD15 each! -I have never seen this type of shoe made before! It is the "general black male basic shoe" *but* with a high heel as a "natural" bonus... -Of course they were of "too high quality", I.E. the outer sole was purely of real leather (like the rest of the shoe), so I had to spend more than the initial outlay to have them rubbersoled so I could use them more than on the occasional perfect day here in Sweden... TallSwede

  9. Sohoboot, What you have shown, I would not hesitate for a second to be seen wearing publicly (assumíng the size would fit my feet that is...). These boots are IHMO *very* discrete and *not* female looking (-If you or somebody else should have/make a significant opinion on this matter...) TallSwede

  10. Squirrelheels, I presume that you are a student (as opposed to being a teacher (else try to find the old B&W movie called Hets made, in Sweden, with the now deceased actor Stig Järrel as the monstrous teacher called "Caligula" by the pupils... Else (horns on...) why not wearing the heels so the pupils know that you are about to get to their necks... / elsewise if you are a pupil, and feel sad about the situation, I hope/believe that there should be a "in Swedish" curator (shool employed "semi-doctor" with similar wows of silence) who you could turn to and ask for help/advice in this matter. -If you feel bad currently, *please try NOT to let it drop tomorrow*, instead blurb out whatever you can to any reasonable support person. ASAP!!! TallSwede

  11. Micha, I had no problems getting to your own site with you wearing the real nice looking boots originating from J-G. But your link to fuss-schuhe.de was today unreachable (there seems to be some routing problems in and out from Sweden today...), so I can not say much more than: -Get them and wear them if *you* like them. I mean, who shall we please, ourselves, or the rest of the people we have no relation to anyway??? TallSwede

  12. To Highluc and Julietta respectively, -HL, I must admit that while being a whisky lover (addict? :( ) myself, I have not (yet?) found the smokier sorts like your Laphroaig to be among my favourites. Dalwhinnie OTOH is a sort that I easily can consume in too large quantities given the opportunity (and money to be able to afford it, especially here in Sweden where a 70cL bottle costs about 40 Euro). -J, Please keeping us all posted! Take a day (or two) off so you avoid sores on the feet until the sandals have had a reasonable time to get shaped to your feet (and vice versa). I have a pair of 4" cork wedges (called Eden) from Ernest of Paris (link at the old site, and also perhaps here somewhere) which from day one felt perfect. -So I wore them during a "power walk" in the woods for about 3KM/2miles, and did not find anything odd until I removed them from my feet when back at home when I sadly noticed that the upper strap across the toes had cut through the skin due to the friction and caused bleeding on both feet... -Well I had to keep them out of use until the wounds healed, and sorely missed them during that period. TallSwede PS. I got disconnected during typing this, so please excuse if this becomes a double posting. DS.

  13. SH, There is always a tomorrow... -My day today has been a (not really) roller-coaster between severe pain and drowsiness (due to the illness and the painkillers involved), so I do understand your frustration. -BTW I have a (relativeley) new pair of HH *male* shoes with 4"+ heels. The problems here are just that the outer sole was originally pure leather, so I had them immediately resoled with "tractor" rubber soles to make them more usable (and durable) in the Swedish winter climate, then am I currently down to a single pair of black socks (*AFTER WASHING*!!! :( ), so as I really try not to be the typical Swede (in many ways perhaps) I prefer not to wear white socks with dark trousers and shoes/boots, and this causes a second "timing" problem as the black socks must be washed when I feel for the shoes... -AAARRRGH  TallSwede

  14. -About fear of heights and/or dizziness at these moments... I also have *no* problem sitting in an airplane, but give me stairs that have "open" steps (I.E. you do not have (whatever the correct English word is) the vertical piece between the individual horizontal "planks"), and I immediately get in trouble. It is the same with piers, where the gang-planks are separated (very nasty for people with blade or stiletto heels btw) so the water can reflect the sun light between them... -I can easily walk at an angle without knowing it (until too late), and step out over the side, thus dropping into the water (or perhaps on a boat, moored at that spot). Quite inconvenient (Is my guess of an Englishmans comment) TallSwede

  15. SH, Take (use) the boots outdoors! I am one of those not considering them blade heels, but so what, I think they look nice as they are, and if they feel good on your feet, just go (walk  ) for it! TallSwede

  16. Highluc, Funny that you manage to keep the thumb nails long. I always find the "pinkies" easiest to protect, while my thumb nails (even though they are quite solid and thick) to get so much action that they get cracks or "V's" along the front because of the daily abuse... -Perhaps the fact that I can not drink milk (but try to compensate with cheese and youghurt) makes then too brittle. TallSwede

  17. Micha, Please give me your opinon on Jean Gaborit! Do you get your moneys worth or not? I am tempted to save up enough money to buy from them, but really would like some customer feed-back before parting with my cash... TallSwede
