  1. I wore heels to college every day except when I wore riding boots. However it was a fashion school.

Perfect example of what I was getting at. If I was at a school like that, I'd wear them all the time. But at a community college where one of the big things is sports, it just wouldn't really go over well. I'm not saying that I'd be in danger, but I could see myself getting ridiculed by some of the more vocal groups at my school. And to me, it's just not worth it.

  2. I don't want to outright discourage you, but I'll say this much: I wouldn't do it at my college. I know a lot of cool friends who would probably be okay with it. With that being said I think only a few actually know about it. And only like 2 of them are guys. (Women seem to be more accepting of guys in heels than guys for me.) The reason I wouldn't wear heels at my college is that while I'm sure there are a lot of tolerant students, there are also a lot of intolerant students. I've been at college for almost 5 years now (changing a major and working a part time job will do that) and I myself have not been the most respectful human being when I started college. I guess I would be afraid of kids actually not caring about being "respectful" and calling me out for it. I want to wear heels, not get called out for it. At the end of the day you have to judge your student body. If you're at some art college where they just care about fashion and whatnot then go for it. If you do it well some may even be jealous of your style. But for where I'm at, it just wouldn't be worth the hassle.

  3. I for one love a good pair of thigh highs. However, unless you have an already slim body, don't count out the slimming properties of a good pair of pantyhose. I feel very confident when I wear a pair of skinny jeans while I'm wearing pantyhose. But that's just me. With that being said, I still consider thigh highs a lot cuter than pantyhose anyways.

  4. Personally I love trying on heels in the store. Most sales clerks don't care (and if they do they haven't done anything about it). But one of my favorite aspects of trying them on in the store is looking at the faces of women who can't believe what they're seeing. It's pretty awesome. But I've always enjoyed attention so maybe that's just me. I also buy heels online, but I mostly try to get them from a brick n mortar shop.

  5. I can't remember a specific age but it was definitely somewhere between 6 -8 when I discovered my mom's heels. There was this one pair of heels she had that were just 3-4 inches without a platform. But they only had a "wall" of material on the outside part of the heel. In other words, the heel was a closed toe, closed heel, and closed outside, but the portion on the inside of the heel was open. I will always remember those heels because I was able to wear them the longest before I couldn't wear any of her heels anymore after I started getting older. I do remember a time much later (I must've been 12-14) when my grandfather (on my mom's side) passed away. My grandmother on my mom's side had passed away nearly a decade earlier so it was time to clean up the house and get it ready to sell. It was a pretty emotional time as I was pretty close to my grandpa, but I had fleeting memories of my grandma. So when we were cleaning out the house we found a lot of vintage heels that my grandma probably wore. My parents were going to throw them away, but, since I wasn't old enough to buy my own heels and I was too big for my mom's, I took a few that I liked and hid them away in my suit case. When I got home, they were still way too small for me. They were just a simple sandal type heels with open toe, but I still couldn't fit in them. But I was so obsessed with wearing them, I actually cut open the strap that went over the toes and taped it back together with duct tape. (I still don't know why this seemed like a good idea, but I guess it was the only thing that seemed logical to me so that I could keep the heels and wear them.) Eventually I threw them away since they were so battered and I eventually couldn't fit in them either. But around 11th or 12th grade of high school I got friends with a girl that I opened up to about it and she was super encouraging of me. During a winter break we even went up to San Francisco together and she forced me to buy a pair of heels and some cute underwear from Forever 21. The rest should be pretty self-explanatory. I personally think that my heels are a fetish. I can eventually control my impulses, but if my girlfriend puts on a pair of heels, or I even start talking about them, I can get aroused pretty easily. But that's all I'll say on that matter.

  6. StormClaw makes a great point. It's all about confidence. And for the most part, you'll do fine. If anything people probably think "woa...that guy is weird. I don't wanna deal with him." which is a shame in and of itself, but who cares. The important thing is that you have fun wearing heels where you want.

  7. There are actually quite a few threads of specific userrs and their adventures. There are some good reads there. ... With that being said, I've never walked in boots in a mall. I have bought shoes from a mall and tried them on in the store (it's always funny watching women stare). But I've never straight up been a mallrat in heels.

  8. I haven't worn them while posting ever. Not for any reason, I just usually don't wear heels when I'm on the computer. My computer desk (actually an amp stand with a sliding tray that I commandeered) is kind of low. So when I sit with 4-5" heels my knees often bump the tray and it kind of winds up being more hassle than it's worth. With that being said, I do sometimes wear heels when I'm playing video games, and I actually love wearing heels when I'm working on the hardware in my computer.

And i do like to look down and see my feet in sandals or high heels and as always making sure i have some nice red nail polish on.

I love that feeling, like I said, I have worn them while on the computer before. And kudos for nail polish. My feet always look better with a nice coat of black or pink nailpolish.

  9. I wore heels out when me and my gf went to Vegas for my 21st birthday. I didn't wear anything crazy (since I'm not too skilled in walking in really high heels yet). They were just a pair of black pumps about 3 inches high. It was really fun and I was surprised how little people actually did anything. With that being said I haven't really done anything like that since then. But you sure are right, nothing to fear but fear.

  10. Thanks for all the "welcome back"s! Sorry I didn't get back to this thread sooner. Still gettin into the habit of coming back to this forum more often. @SleekHeeks: Oh yeah, they got software to automatically remove that stuff. =P @newheels: Awesome. Do you play shooters? (CS, Halo, TF2, etc.) @crotchhiboots: Oh nice. I've seen that you can do that when I watch my friends play but I haven't played a sandbox game since GTA4. I'm anxiously awaiting for GTA5. @johnieheel: Thanks mang!

  11. One time I dropped a huge ass CRT monitor when I was working for my job. I sort of cushioned it by bracing it against my leg and foot as it fell (was still new at the job and didn't want to show up with a broken-screen on a monitor). I felt embarassed as hell because a women walked out of the lobby I was walking in front of me asked if I needed help and I was all like "Nope. I got it." It didn't break but ever since then I always try to make sure I don't lift what I can't carry. (Still have a close shave every now and again though lol).

  12. I listen to just about everything except most country and folk. Recently I've been listening to a lot of young rap (OFWGKTA, Casey Veggies, Lil B, etc.) and ska (The Aquabats, Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto). But I'll listen to anything dating back to baroque times. Hell, I listened to Hotel California (whole album) for the first time a week ago. I don't really think heels fit into any of that, especially for ska music (you try skanking in pumps). But I want to be a recording engineer and I'm studying in school to be a composer so if I had my own studio I may record a few personal sessions while wearing heels... but idk. Heels are more for pleasure for me whereas a studio would be work (fun work, but work nonetheless).

  13. Hi everyone, some of the veteran members may remember me. I posted on here years ago (2009), but after awhile I eventually left. There are a few reasons for this, and if anyone is interested feel free to ask. Anyways, the reason I came back is because I got an email from the website wishing me happy birthday. So I checked out the forum once again and I found myself missing posting on here. I'm no stranger to forums and the communities involved (mostly for video games). Anyways, I don't really expect anyone to remember me (I have a terrible memory myself lol) so no worries on that regard. I just figured since it's been so long I should reintroduce myself. I still love wearing heels, and I am in a serious relationship with a girl who is eager to explore the feminine side of me. I'm looking forward to discussing all things high heels again. Outside of that I'm still a huge gamer. I love reading comics. I picked up skateboarding over a year ago. And I'm in school to get a major in music composition. Although, I'd like to work as a recording engineer. ~sam~

  14. I think i'd to try them out just once to see how they feel and like to walk in but i've never really wanted to own any.

Yeah. I always keep getting to the point where I'm about to buy them, but then I realize it's 100+ dollars for a pair of heels Im going to wear not a lot. So it's tough for me to do that when 100 dollars is A LOT to me.
