  1. Hi, I think you are buying your shoes from good fashion shops. Style is important and heel height. It is all about opinions. The classic court shoe or pump never goes amiss. A thicker 4 or 5 inch heel may look better for business than the classic stiletto. Knee or ankle boots can look very good as well. Sue ( Teeza)

  2. When I worked at; I always wore high heel boots or court shoes for work. The minimum heel height was 5 inches. I strived to wear 6 inch heels on a regular basis and even tried on two occassions to wear 7 inch heels. That proved very difficult until I trained myself to wear the highest heel which took six months. What do you wear for office work? Teeza (Sue)

  3. Following the original heeless boots shown on the first section of this thread; I have had my husband a second pair of boots custom made to the same format. The differences are thigh (male genital height) with a side zip, 1 1/2 inch enclosed platform (original 2 inch enclosed platform), 8 inch effective heel height (original 6 inch). The new pair give a 6 1/2 inch heel arch. We did a test run in Manchester (UK) with him wearing the boots under long leather trousers. WOW, what a fun afternoon and evening. I can assure you many heads turned. I hope to post pics in the very near future. Teeza (Sue)

  4. I have never owned a pair of boots / shoes with metal heels. What are they like to wear and are the heels noisy on the pavement? Know of any QUALITY makes in UK. Sue (Teeza)

  5. When I was in the non uniform branch of the police, mid to late 1970s, I reqularly wore 4 inch heeled black pumps. I then graduated to custom made 5 inch and 6 inch spiked heel pumps. It took me a while to master 6 inch spikes; a great deal thigh muscle and foot ache but it was worth every minute. My husband had made a pair of 7 inch spikes wiyhout a platform. Not easy but with foot training -, I did wear them to work. I would never done it differently.

  6. Early this year, my husband bought me from Australia a pair of black leather knee high, front lace pony hoof boots. I do have a boot fetish but when I opened the parcel; I was mortified. They were difficult at first to get used to and after a few hours practice in our home; I tried them on the concrete driveway. Very, very noisy indeed. I have worn them several times out in Manchester, London and Amsterdam. I feel quite excited wearing them under long flaired leather trousers and heads always turn due the noise of the steel hoof. Any other girls share this experience? Teeza (Sue)

  7. Hi, I encourage my husband to wear high heeled custom made boots. I particularly enjoyed him in boots when we are out socially. The norm is 5 inch heels but I do allow him out in 7 or 8 inch (with enclosed platforms) heeled boots. Best case was him wearing a pair of Reactor (Australia) knee length pony styled hoof boots in London last March. With the appropriate trousers it was a fun evening. Sue (Teeza)

  8. Hi from Sue, Locking ankle straps can be fun. I would go for them. Depending on your point of view, hubby may want you to wear them out socially. First time out - wear thenm under jeans and them try a skirt / dress. People do look at you and smile when they see the locks but it makes you feel sexy. I wear boots which have locks on them out socially. It has been known that my hubby will not me take them off and I wear them in bed!! Good fun. Sue
