Thanks pebblesf. The faux leather (PU) Leggings are a recent find and becoming a firm favourite. And those boots? Well, they will always be my favourites...
Cheers
Hey Pierre1961,
They're Boutique 9 "Feliece" Boots. I purchased them through Amazon around 4 years ago. I think they were from the winter of 2013-2014? Pity, because so many nice boots are around for only 1 season... You can find them on Ebay occasionally and they fit true to size.
I have 16 pairs of boots in my collection. 14 pairs of high heel boots and 2 pairs of flat heel boots. But there are many reasons why these ones are so special and why I like them so much. For boots with 5" heels, I cannot believe how comfortable they are! Only yesterday I was standing my the kitchen drinking a cup of coffee, when I looked down and realised I was wearing them. They were so comfortable, I had forgotten I had them on. I don't get any pain in the balls of my feet, even when I stand in one place for a long time! These boots are the most comfortable high heels I have ever worn.
Of course I think they are a stylish, nice looking boot. Although a few years old, I think they still look contemporary. (I guess quality never goes out of style?? ). Also, I do like the block heel. I feel it's a nice fusion of the masculine and the feminine, as opposed to stiletto heels... (Although, I confess, I do have 6 pairs of stiletto heel boots, plus four pairs of wedge heel boots. But there is always room for more... )
And of course there is the sound. They make such a powerful sound when I'm walking...
Cheers

Well, the rain cleared last night, so I drove to one of my favourite secluded spots and set off for a 1 hour walk. Wore my favourite black boots. I know I should dive into my collection and mix it up a bit...
But we know how it is... We all have that one special pair! All my boots are special. I wouldn't have bought them otherwise!!! , But there can only be one favourite pair!
Anyway, my calves were a little sore, but my feet were fine. So, my high heel fitness continues to improve!
I used to marvel at the women on the railway station, wearing their sexy high heel boots, I wondered how they would manage a 10-20 minute walk to and from the railway station every day. (Not all of them got driven to the station by car).
Well, now I know it can be done. Now I can walk in my 5" heel boots for an hour without noticeable discomfort. Fun! Fun! Fun!!!
I still watch and daydream about walking to the station in my boots, wearing boots all day at work, and then walking home in my boots at the end of the day.
For the moment, I'm still dreaming. For the moment I am still discreet. But not forever! The day will come when I stride out confidently in public, wearing my boots!

Hey Cali,
I agree totally. There is definitely some psychology at play here...
High heel boots don't just look powerful, they also sound powerful. And I feel powerful when I wear them. I get it. We are not imagining this. And we are not making it up...
I do believe the sound is an important part of the mystique... I find the sound almost hypnotising when I'm walking. I can relax and it helps my mind to wander. Almost like a form of "mobile meditation"
I have read forums where women complain about the sound of their heels and seek advice on what can be done quieten them. I have always thought to myself, "Why on earth would anyone want to do that?"
Cheers
P.S. The 12 hour stint is inspirational...

Hey pebblesf,
They are Feliece boots from Boutique 9. They were well made leather boots with a leather lining. I agree they look great and are unbelievably comfortable for 5" heel boots. No surprise they are my personal favourites...
Sadly, they were from the winter of 2013-14 but do occasionally show up on ebay...
The faux leather (pu) leggings are from Vila and are also very comfortable. These ones are no longer available, but similar ones are easy to find.
Cheers

Well friends, I won't improve my high heel fitness by sitting on the lounge watching tele. It's about priorities!
So I donned my my fav boots for the second time this week and drove to a favourite secluded spot for a 45 minute walk.
And I'm getting better. Towards the end I was really starting to stride with balance and confidence, just like the good ol' days! Need some more calf muscle fitness, but it will come.
Forgotten how much fun it is wearing high heels!!! And glad to be rediscovering it!!!

Hey Sydheel,
Thanks for the acknowledgement. I'm new to the forum. It's fantastic! Would've joined years ago, if I'd known about it!
Bought my first pair of high heel boots in 1980, when I was just 15. The 1980's were grim times for boots... Thank God they made a comeback in the 90's and this time, they've stuck around!!
Now, I'm the proud owner of around 20 pairs of High Heel boots. Who's counting? Maybe it's time for an audit?? Of course, they're all 4-5 inch heels. Anything lower are flats!!
Anyway, I'll be logging-on regularly to participate with posts, photos, updates and stories of my experiences...
Cheers
