  1. Yes! I think most men could pull off wearing heels well. I'd love to see it happen. I've got shoes from 3" cowboy boots, 3" chunky soles, to platforms with stilettos. Generally, I think boots look most masculine -- and I like that look best on men. Towering stilettos on most men may not be the best look -- that said, if body is in good shape, and confidence is high, it can look good. Each to their own. Hair length, boxers/briefs, loose/skinny jeans, to shoes, we've got choices as to how we present ourselves -- and our choices are widening for sure.

  2. Does everyone here check out the daily pics of men wearing heels on the highheelpassion site on blogspot? I'm amazed with how many good looking photos of men in heels are posted on a daily basis. Why aren't other media sources picking up this growing trend? Seeing how good we look in our heels is frustrating in the sense that I want others to see the photos as well, but nobody's taking notice. Argh!

  3. Too funny... I was thinking that the question had to do more with sleeping in bed with a pile of your shoes! Am I the only weirdo to think this? Anyway, yes, I have slept with high heels on -- didn't work. I couldn't sleep. I kept waking up (aroused). And, mostly because I wear more boots than shoes, it's just too hot (no pun). Wil

  4. It's been a long time since I've worn clogs. I bought a new pair the other day. So far, loving them. I used to have some wood sole shoes like "candies" a long time ago but they bit the dust several years ago. A friend of mine that had no idea how into heels I am looked down at my clogs and says, "Could you find a more gay pair of shoes to wear?". My response, "I could, but it would blow your mind to pieces." After that he was cool. What do you guys think about clogs? Wear them?

  5. So funny today... at the mall with my wife and we went into Macy's. As soon as we got near the shoes, my wife went straight toward them. Lots of people in the store. Now, I now they don't carry size 12 in most shoes, so I rarely even ask to see anything in my size. But, I saw a pair of gladiator platform sandals with 6" heels that were just gorgeous. When the sales lady came over to ask if we needed help, I said very boldly, do you think you have these in my size? She smiled and politely asked, "would you wear them if we did?" and I said, "heck yeah, they're fantastic!" She said, "sorry, they only come up to a size 10." My wife just grinned the whole time.

  6. I know a lot of guys that will easily talk about how cool the high heels of the 70's were. Granted these are all guys in their 40's who would have no desire to wear women's shoes, but would probably wear the platforms of the 70's if they came back!;)

  7. Went to see the new Star Trek movie last night. Loved the movie, but was sad they weren't wearing the boots like the original cast. Anyone else notice it too?

  8. Why? Exhibitionism mainly -- the rush of pushing the envelope -- the faint possibility of common interest ... not sure how much goes into the decision to do (or wear) something that challenges the mainstream. Thoughts?

  9. So yesterday, I was waiting for a repair guy to fix the dryer. I live in a fairly good sized city -- not like I was expecting anyone I might ever see again. It had been some time since I had worn heels just to get a reaction from a stranger (I haven't been wearing heels out much lately.) So, I decide to wear some boots with big chunky four inch heels. We have wood floors though most of the house. They were very loud. As I opened the door and invited him in, I towered over him. As I walked to the laundry room, my boots were so loud on the floors. Nothing... not a single comment. As he came in the room to tell me he had to go back to the truck to get a tool, I was sitting with my legs crossed, heel fully exposed! Nothing... I don't know if the guy was shocked and just couldn't speak, or what? Anybody ever really try to get noticed like that? I was so frustrated. But, heck, the dryer works fine now.

  10. I've been wearing chunky soled shoes for a long time, things like Doc Martins, etc. Seems to me that lately, all men's casual shoes have no height whatsoever. And, there's a ton of really ugly shoes on the market. I want something that gives me an inch or two in a men's style shoe. Not too expensive either. Any thoughts?

  11. Summer months are tough for me. I would like something cooler than boots to wear, but honestly, I do not like the look of most men wearing sandals of any kind (heels or not). That said, I would think that a pedicure and some medium to dark tan would help a lot.
