What is so impressive is that you are able to wear a skirt and heels and still look like a man, not a man trying to be a woman. It is pioneers like you and HappyFeat that will turn the tide for men to have the freedom to wear the cloths they want. Jeff you are da man.

  2. I have gotten to where I wear pantyhose daily now, the IT office is cold all year long so they keep my legs warm also I have found that at the end of the day my legs are nor as tired as before I started wearing hose.

  3. Simon I agree with most of what you say, in that for heels to become excepted by most men the heel needs to look (for lack of a better word) "manly" ie cuban or even stacked or block heels. I wear heels most days to work and most of the shoes are loafers or oxfords with a 3" or 4" stacked heel, and a couple of times I actully had guys ask me where I got the shoes, now I don't know if they had noticed the heel or not. To your point about Stilettos you are right that there are a lot of women who should not wear shoes with that heel, but they do so as long as it is ok for them then it should be ok for men. To Amanda's reasons I have heard the very same thing from my wife she knows I like wearing heels and when I am at work or alone then it's fine but when we are togther she is not comfortable with me in heels so I don't wear heels. I wish I could but for the very reasons Amanda gave I understand and honor her wish.

  4. Hey everyone I know I have not posted much lately and I wanted to let you know what I have been up to. I started a new job in February and they had me hit the ground running, I work in IT on midrange systems and their systems had been neglected for some time so the past four months have been 10- 12 hour days trying to get the systems back in shape. You might be asking what does this have to do with high heels, well let me tell you. My old job I never really felt comfortable wearing my heels at work no one ever said anything but it just felt odd. I started this new job and at first I was concerned not because of company policy but since it is a very large trucking company, and some of the attitude that might exist, now that said most of the women here wear heels. So slowly I started wearing heels once or twice a week just to see what would happen, and exactly what I had hoped for noting so now I wear heels almost daily, both shoes and boots with block and stiletto heels, but the styles are somewhat men’s styles. No I have not tried peep toes or open toes and don’t plan to yet. To this day I have not received one negative reaction and in actuality most people don’t even notice. The company has two offices that I split my time between and they are 30 miles apart, one is the main administration office and the other is our operations and fleet yard. At our admin office some of the ladies have started asking what I am wearing and have completed me in that I wear heels well, and they seem disappointed when I wear my regular cowboy boots. It is really cool that I can wear heels and feel comfortable doing it and it also gives me the confidence to wear my heels other places as well. I have attached a couple of shots of what I wear to work.

    Cheers billy.

  5. Hey DUG1967 I have not had a chance to log in a while and saw your post, I am out in El-Paso and would love to meet fellow Texans that wear heels, but I started a new job and don't have any time off yet, by the way been wearing heels to work almost daily and not one negitve comment. ;)

  6. Johnie Like you I do not know any men that want to or like to wear high heels, but a few weeks ago I was at payless and the store manager who is a man helped me and he said that he had several male coustomes that bought heels for themselves he also said that most he felt wore the heels as guys and yet I have not seen any of them. Some day hopefully.

  7. I voted both to be honest I just love the darn things, and when I go with out heels I feel odd, if I could I would wear heels 7 days a week. For me I like the fit and the feel of the shoe and all of the heels I have are far more comfortable than men's shoes

  8. There is a park near where I work that has a big pond and walking paths all around it and some days I will go ther to have lunch and after I eat I usually will take a walk. Well a few weeks ago as I pulled up and parked there was a car parked across from me in the next lot and the drivers door was open and a high heeled boot was sticking out and after a bit the driver got out with their back to me this person was tall with long hair so I assumed a lady then the person turned around and I realized it was a man, he thru away a bag in the trash got back in his car and drove off. A few days later I went back to the park to have lunch when I saw his car but no one was in it so I had my lunch and got out to go for a walk as I neared this coverd pic nic table I saw him and he was wearing wide leg trousers and a pair of black mary janes with at least 4.5 inch heel, I decided to stop and talk to him but just as I got close his cell phone started ringing and when he answered he imedently picked up his lunch and started walking towards his car but sa we crossed paths he look down saw I was wearing heels looked up at me with a suprised look smiled and kept going. unfortantly I have not had a chance to have lunch at the park lately so I have not seen again. Out here in southern New Mexico I saw another heeler lol ;-)

  9. To me the second and thrid guys cloths do match well with the shoe and they could work in a professional envrionment and not be a distraction, the only thing is the paints might could be a little longer. The first guy I think outfit looks ok for clubbing or a night out, and the last guy I like the style of shoe just not the pink if the paints were longer and the shoe a better match maybe a dark color then he would look alright. Ladies lets get some input from you please.

  10. I now wear heels to work more often than not. I have three pairs that I feel comfortable in wearing at work and so far no negitive words or even looks and I have been wearing my heels now for 3 or 4 months.

  11. Johnie and Radiodave I agree I don't like the pink shoes and it kind of throws the hole picture off from being serious look at men in heels. Also the red pumps are a little out there too but not as bad as the pink pumps.

  12. Ok Everyone I am sure most of you have seen this picture from the Spanish Marie Claire. If not this is from the October 2007 issue. What are your thoughts on how these guys look, to me as a man who would like to incorporate heels in to regular male attire this is a good look at we should strive for in social acceptance. Now this is not meant to dissuade all who are trying to blaze new trails by adding skirts and dress’s into the men’s wardrobe keep on moving forward, but for a lot of us if we got acceptance to this point it would be great. Everyone please tell us what you think and if you don’t like the look what would you change. Ladies your input is wanted as you have been matching your heels with your outfits all your life and know the rules, (this is not too say that men can’t bend the rules a little). If the look is not what you would do then what changes would you suggest to make the look correct and please no comments like lose the heels LOL.
