  1. I just bought these white ones.  My first pair of white heels.  Usually my heels are black. Feel safer in black heels.  Haven’t worn them in public yet, but did shovel the driveway and got the snow off our vehicles. Little chilly on the feet, but it was worth it.

  2. Even some people at work were surprised that they stopped talking to me. O well. It’s all good. It was nice to talk to more people about heel wearing and where to buy.

Yes I have a Facebook account.

No way in hell I'm announcing I wear heels on it.

I'm hoping the pictures of me on the benefactors  web site from this last summers Walk a Mile event don't show up anywhere related to me.

I announced it about 2 years ago. Was nervous typing it and then was really nervous hitting the share button.  Sure a few people stopped talking to me and a lot of people were happy and congratulated me on the announcement.

  4. Just curious to see how many people on here have Facebook and announced that they wear heels.  It would be kinda cool to add some people as friends from here to Facebook so that our friends and or family can see that there are other people who enjoy wearing heels. Does this make sense.

  5. Sad to say, that will be the last time I wear heels out. It was fun and I’m sure others have noticed and chatted about it.

Reason why I won’t be wearing heels out anymore because I will always be nervous and worry what others think. My wife stands at 4 foot 7 and I stand at 5 foot 11 without heels. She is self  conscious about her height when we stand beside each other and me in heels makes that worse. I love my wife and have chosen not to make her feel that way. My wife is an amazing person to be with and supported me and my heel wearing . Now to respect how she feels.

I will I’ll post a pic of the heel later. Brand name is Mix 6

Well done, @krazyhusband! Love the heels. what did the wife think of them? and no less importantly - how did the evening go?

Before the party, say a week before the party, I asked her what she thought about black dress pants with a black shirt and red tie and my red heels. She said go for it, it will look great.

The party went great. As soon as we entered the office, first thing the hostess noticed was my heels and she said that she liked them. No one else mentioned the heels to me. We stayed there for about 1 hour, had some food and a couple non alcoholic drinks(I don’t drink and wife is pregnant) I was nervous threw the whole party. Walking around was ok but sitting down reveled all the heel.

KH, you look great buddy!  Exactly the look I wish I could achieve: powerful and confident!

Thank you. As my wife and I were driving to the party, I took the long way to get there. Trying to build up my confidence. Checked my heart rate a little. Wife for sure thought that I was going to chicken out and put on men’s dress shoes. That’s what I usually do as soon as I get to a destination.

Red shoes all the way !!!  I know we all have a ton of black heels!

Lots of black heels yes. A few blue heels, patent and suede. Couple white heels, beige heels, and a few other colours. That’s the only pair of red heels I own.

  9. So I finally wore heels out. Been a long since I wore them out. It was fun, exciting and felt like me, but also nervous and my mind couldn’t stop thinking of what other people were thinking of a guy in heels. This is what I wore to a party our realtor was having.

  10. Since some of us are wearing heels out and about, are there any places where we shouldn't wear heels. Maybe it would take away the attention from the other person. For me, I would like to wear them to either a special occasion like a wedding, a house party, staff party, someone's birthday or maybe a funeral.

  11. Reason why I am trying shorts and heels is that the summers are getting hotter. With humidity it's around 35. Kinda hot to be wearing pants. Tomorrow goings to be even hotter. Boooooo.

I do enjoy joy wearing pants. I prefer pants. Even in the shade, one would sweat.

  12. All my shorts are below the knee. I know that it's a big step to wear shorts and heels, but hey, let's give it a try. I know that I am pushing my boundaries, and maybe that's where I am losing my confidence in wearing heels out. I have no problem wearing pants and heels. Wife even wants me to get some pants with a shorter leg to show my heel. All my pants now go to the floor to cover up all the heel.

  13. For me I've always liked the stiletto heel. All my heels are 4 inches and higher, closed toed. Some are pointed, and rounded toe. I also have ankle boots, lace up shooties and booties, and some wedge heels. For colours, I like black and have a lot of black heels, couple blue pairs, one beige, and a couple white pairs. Today I was wearing a snake print dark tan pump with shorts and a black shirt. Had to take the heels off when I got gas today.

I would like like to wear heels as a regular day shoe, either with pants or shorts.

Has anyone else come out during Pride month and be themselves, or publish it on Facebook?

  14. I have been wearing heels for a long time. Since I've been 8 years old, sneaking into moms room and taking a couple of heels and wear them around my bedroom and wear them to bed. Mom caught me a few times and was somewhat ok with it.

I've always been concerned what other people think, nothing new with me. Just that I think that I care more now. No negative comments, I even had a supervisor at work tell me I had nice heels. The pic was me in shorts,t shirt and white pumps.  I guess maybe I should stick to pants and heels, more brave that way while wearing heels. Last couple months I have been trying shorts and heels. I can walk around the yard and be ok with it, but when I go in public, say to get gas, or visit friends at their house, it's harder for me to wear shorts and heels.

Not sure, you already crossed the biggest hurdle most face, family and friends.  Why you care about anyone else baffles me.

I've always put family and friends first, and will always do that. Always been a pleaser. Even to people who I don't know.

  16. Just want to say hi to everyone.

I've been wearing heels for a long time, and all my family and friends know I like to wear heels. Last month was Pride month which was cool. I've even posted on Facebook that I enjoy wearing heels and posted some pics as well.

My thing is that I worry too much on what other people think, or if they are going to say anything. Me worrying too much is causing me to wear  heels to less places. Family and friends tell me to wear them and not care or worry what other think. I can't tho. I always worry.

So my question is, how can I wear them and not worry so much?
