Was the guy working there, wearing heels at the time?
X
No, apparently he only works during the week. Actually thought it might have been you, the girl I was talking to told me he had just brought some pink diamante sandles, like the ones in you post here http://www.hhplace.org/discuss/guys/8322-my_100th_pair.html#post133340

Took these back today & order them in a size 9.

Couldn't resist browsing a while & ended up trying on some more shoes

Brought the last pair.
Ended up spending a while chatting to the girls working there. They were really nice & not at all bothered by me trying on heels.
One of the men that works there also heels
Got my eye on a couple of other pairs which I might have a look at when I go back to pick up my other shoes.
Anyone that is bothered about trying on heels, just give it a go you might be suprised at how positive the reaction is (and its great fun)

Concession is like a little outlet within a department store, like a Debenhams. Branches are usually within shopping centres or on High Streets
Thanks, kinda spoils my plans, was going to head to Debenhams which is a bit closer
Will have to have another look for store nearby (Bristol is about an hours drive away).

YAY!!
Wish I'd spotted those while I was shopping, very nice

HAS to be a branch though... Not a concession!!

I maybe being a bit dumb here, whats the difference?

Anywhere, it's all in the head.
Finally learning that this is true.

Hi,
Good to hear you had a positive experience. All of my heel buying has been online so far, but I expect that to change soon. Partly the problem is a lack of High Street shops that sell shoes in larger sizes, over a UK9. There are some but the selection tends to be fairly limited.
I really like the second pair, classical and elegant. They look really comfortable. Enjoy wearing them!
All best wishes,
Tosca
Thanks, they are really comfortable, put them on as soon as I could before I finished my shopping trip
Was quite exciting walking around in a new pair of heels.
They are also the first pair I've had that had 'toe cleavage', thing it looks great.

Ooh, I work for Faith. What one did you go into?
X
Cribbs Causeway, Bristol.
Quick question for you, can I take shoes back to a different faith shop & get different size ordered?
-
I bought those from schuh.co.uk
Thanks, may add them to the list of shoes I want.

Usually when I shop for heels I go into self service shops. Today I decided to set myself a little challenge on my day off, buy some heels in a normal shoe shop.
Stuck on a pair of heels & headed off to nearby Faith, & after a bit of plucking up some courage asked for and tried on these

Brought the second two pairs, although the last pair are a bit tight so I might take them back & get them to order me a size 9.
Staff were really helpful & didn't mind when I asked to try them on & walked around to shop a while. Starting to realise that people either don't care or don't notice when I'm out in heels.

Great sandals, where did you get them from?
-
Thanks to reading all the posts on here, yes I know try heels on in the shop, it's great fun. Knowone seems to care and staff have been very helpful. It's even meant I've brought some heels I would have not considered before as I did not expect them to fit.
New shopping experience
