  1. Tell me about the guy that works there that wears heels, may I ask how you know this? Does he wear them in store? Can I also ask if you wear your heels in public?

1st time i went in assistant manager told me about him and how they are used to men wearing heels. another time i went in he served me and we were talking about how we had some of the same shoes. didn't see him in heels in the store, guess that might make some customers uncomfortable.

    And yes sometimes i do

  2. I'm in Solihull myself! I was in that store today...didn't try any heels on though :cry1:

    Regards,

    Spiker.

next time try some on. The staff are kinda used to it, they have a guy who works there who wears heels  although be warned they will make you spend lots of money )
  3. Chris100575,

Congratulations on having the courage to go in store and try on! I wish I had that nerve, it must help to have a fiancée who's willing to accompany you. My fiancée, although very accepting of me in heels is very much a "behind closed doors" type person. Do you mind me asking which Faith store you went into?

Noticed you are in west midlands, the faith store in Solihull is worth a visit very male friendly

  4. I saw a photo of a big guy in platform boots with the heel removed at Plateaumike.com submitted by Georg. Is this a viable alternative to custom made boots? sven

Works for me, i've got a pair of platform courts that i've taken the heels off, makes for an interesting challenge to walk in.

  5. I have recently had bought for me a number of Ballet Heels made in Austria by 'Redheel'. I have Thighboots, Kneeboots, Ankle boots and Shoes in Black, Red - and White (shown below).

Although they are well made and look wonderful - the materials (PU Leather) and the toe-box are too flimsy to stand walking in for too long before they crease.

    They are amazing :winkiss:

  6. A guy used to scream "poof" at me from a speeding car until I cught him waiting at traffic lights once. He doesn't do it any more.

I think though that if that's the worst you're going to get then it ain't a bad lifestyle!

Had something similar happen when out in heels with a friend. but will never see them again so tend not to worry about it.

  7. I've got a pair of baby pink pvc boots (pleaser seduce 2000) which i was planning to wear on a day out with my girlfriend at a fetish event but they have loads of marks on them any tips on cleaning them... tried washing up liquid on a sponge but isn't really working :w00t2: tia

  8. Please tell us a little more about the transaction. What kind of thigh boots did you get and what kind of shoes did you give up?

They are black leather, lace up thigh boots, with a 6inch heel. will post a pic when i've got one. swapped them for a pair of platform MJ's

You are fortunate on two fronts. One, she is a female who understands your enjoyment of high heels. Two, if you do wear the same size, this could lead to many more memorable exchanges in the future. Please keep us posted as to how this progresses.

Oh I'm very lucky not only do i have friends that understand my fiancee also understands  think some of that comes from the D/S lifestyle I live.

Looking forward to future swaps & she is already sending me lots of link to new shoes.

  9. just wanted to tell people about the fantastic evening i had yesterday. went to a friends house to swap her thigh high boots (that didn't fit her any more) for a pair of my shoes. was great fun & now i've got a new pair of boots.

  10. Thankyou to all of you, for the well wishing, advice etc.

BB_in_heels: I have a lot of self motivation and willpower, I quit smoking a year ago purely on willpower, but I think it will be harder with food- especially as I tend to bake brownies and stuff for my boyfriend to take to work with him, and having stuff in the house makes it a lot harder to resis, but not allowing myself new shoes unless I loose the weight is gauranteed to keep me at it (especially as I just ordered 3 pairs of 5" stiletoes that I'm not allowed to wear until I loose a stone (14lbs for the non-Brits)), because I will do almost anything for new shoes!!

You have my upmost respect for the determination you must have to quit smoking. The easier answer with things like brownies is just not to have that sort of thing in the house :santa_hat:

You long before you get to order your Ballet Boots?

  11. Lolita, Good luck with you plans, learning to walk in ballet's is a very challenging and rewarding process. I admire your plans to reward yourself for your weight loss, Personnal I don't have that much self restraint. I've got a couple of pairs, one thigh high the other ankle boots and I find the ankle boots much eaiser to walk in. Not sure why this is the case, but it does have the added benefit that they are much easier to put on that the thigh boots. J
