Again just a word, a label. it should be pointed out that the author's use of the word was in no way disrespectful, simply as matter of fact and she did not use the word in reference to men in heels.

My point - probably badly made was a general dislike for that term!

Great article - really well presented. But - I still really dislike the term 'cross dresser', it suggests (to me) its odd, not normal etc... To me wearing boots is just a fashion choice, I do not want to be a woman, look like a woman etc....., I just really enjoy wearing boots that society deems to be 'womans' shoes - I dont need or want a tag - especially one that conjurs up images of a the stereotypical sequine dressed man stomping around a stage! Just my view - but again, great article.

Angelina Jolie boots - pic AJ - 4, Im not sure they are Louboutins, they dont seem to have the tell tail red sole and heel inner???

Thighbootguy - I agree, the boots should be worn, in fact I have them on over my skinny jeans as I type! But outside, Im just not sure??

I think the only way I can see me doing it is in a group, where having fellow minded people around me will a) give me the confidence and mean I am not the sole focus - does that make sense??

I will keep an eye out for a heelmeet somewhere near me - that will probably be my first step forward - boot forward!
