  1. Hi stillettopete! Love the "heel scanner" bit, I so wish more people around here wore heels. (Come to think of it, I only see someone in heels about twice a week.) Suffice it to say that you better turn down the intensity of your heel scanner here or it will blow up! :) Have fun!

    Thanks.

Heel scanner in overload. Amazing. :wavey:

  2. Birmingham is a 450 mile drive for me, of a long walk in heels.

    A bit too far methinks.

A UK meet for all interested would be awesome tho'.

I just fancy a shop , a coffee and a chat somewhere convenient for a few heelers. B'ham is good for me. As is L'pool , M'cr.

Those dates are still cool for me. Anyone interested?

  3. Fantastic and well done. You're great account just confirms what I'm already finding out. Nothing much happens. People just get on with what they're doing. There maybe some looks and a few whispers but thats okay. If you believe in what you're doing and it's the real you , go for it. The biggest factor is the internal dialogue and catastrophising that we plague ourselves with! What if? etc etc. Actually something does happen. Something very good. The great feeling of excitement , joy , pleasure and achievement of wearing high heels , your high heels , your shoes wherever and whenever you want. Of not hiding away , being secret. "Feel the fear and do it anyway" is now my mantra regarding my heel outings. It's not a crime. Just a societally derived norm that certain items are gender specific. Well norms can be challenged and changed by action. Yours and my action. There can never be enough accounts of street heeling. It's great you've got your own little place here. You deserve it. Look forward to more of your heeling adventures.

  4. I am into women women in high heels my wife likes flats more but ocasionaly wears heels for me:smile:

Hello and welcome. My partner wears heels occasionally but less so now. She's more hippie now. Flip flops and sandals. But she does have some gorgeous shoes and boots. Very frustrating so now I wear them instead.

    Have fun here.

  5. Hello and welcome. What a great introduction. I'd like to see some of your shoe designs too. I completely get the thing about burying your passion at times. I'm not TV but have tried life without owning heels. But here I am. Heels and all. Look forward to your posts. Have fun and share the passion.

  6. Thanks CR... I'm also a UK7 and have no problems at all re sizing with the exception of my New Look mary jane stiletto's. 5.5" and hidden platform. A beautiful shoe and one of my favourites but I really struggled to wear them initially. Especially the left foot which was very tight. Ouch! I have persevered and they're okay now. They have stretched a little. And I've lost a bit of weight so I figure that has helped. Regards SP

  7. Bought these Aldo Alcosiba ankle boots recently in size 41. They have a small hidden platform up front and a 5.5" metal heel. The heel is unusually thin (about 5mm diam).

Today I took them out in public to test them out today. I wore jeans that showed almost all the heel. They are a little tight on me right now, however they are smooth and good to walk in. The heel despite being really thin feels good & solid.

I took a trip around the shops and browsed heels in a few shops. As usual I got almost no reaction from people, but the sales girl in one shop was busy tidying the shoes on the racks and kept moving around to keep a good view of me whilst stealing looks at my boots. Beyond asking me if I needed help she didn't comment. A little later I returned to the hotel I was staying at and decided to get a drink and a sandwich at the bar. I sat at the bar on a high stool for about 45 minutes with my heels in full view. It was busy with maybe 75 people sitting in groups around tables or at the bar. I was expecting some looks or comments , but nothing.

The heels despite being thin are plastic capped (right now) so fortunately don't damage wooden floors, however they do seem to cut more effortlessly than "normal stilettos" through other things I've accidently trodden on.

Great boots and great account of you heeling them in public. Thanks for the share.

Just bought these the other day. From eBay. Arriving tomorrow. Lovely
