You know, this site needs you to get some things going.  I have tried,  but you have something that I don't, that gets people interested.  I come here really now to keep in contact with Roff and rarely check much else.  I'm inclined to think that your absence is a sign of your life being good.  I hope that's the case.

I liked it.  Many years ago I did archery.  The chap teaching us was an Olympic champion called Don something.  I wasn't very good at it.  I was able to draw a 30lb bow then.  I suppose it would be less now.  Olympic archers typically draw 90lbs.  They tested the bows found on the Mary Rose and found that they had a draw weight of 180lbs.  I could probably not pull back the string an inch, but with a bow I could draw I often hit the target and sometimes hit the bull.  Doing archery well involves learning how to relax.  A few years later at ante-natal classes they presumed to teach me how to relax.  Having children put paid to my archery.

You're quite right.  I did try a little while ago, but I couldn't make it happen.  I'll try tonight.

And I'm not surprised to get succour from a Canadian - it's happened before. Bless you and your countrymen.
