  1. No really big problem. At the shop they are very oposed to high heels so I must go to the library for my internet business. Hope to get my own place soon. Last monday I went to church in my Max Studio 5 inch stelettoe kneehigh. This was met with acceptanec, admiration and envy. Ananda said bad ass boots we are so burning with envy. In my effort to build a miniture gutar amplifier I was forced to get a membership to eBay to procure the 5902s and 6112s and the like. Then eBay turnes out to be a source of high heels in my size or nearly. Plenty of 11 medium and few 11n. So I shall chek in occasionally but not like I would like until I get my own place.

  2. If it is the leather that is issueing the smell then I might tend to think of some sort of eighteen carbon parifin carried in on a methanol solvent with just a touch of glycol. But as I see it without knowing the kind of smell or the chemical carrying the olfactry signature I can not be specific. Sitll there are about three ways to go one seal in the smell. Two add some chemical with a strong counter smell. Three add some chemical that will covailently or ionicly bond and thereby change the nature of the molicule. Once a while back I wanted to alter the color of a pair of black boots and got no useable suggestions anywhere so by accedent I found that the pigment was some form of mecury bichromate and that zincsulphate would convert the chromium to zinc-chromate which is yellow and the mecury to mecurysulphate which is orange. Please any chemical engineers out there go easy on me as I am not a chemist but I did use zincsulphate to turn the black boots from black to blochy yellowishorange. Anyway the result was what I wanted and smell can be adjusted in similar fashion.

  3. That was a bad idea from the start. The Ugg should be given to the ones that post no more than a grunt and the Croc is a good name for the ones that are full of shit, But somehow the placement of that word really did make it look like a user name. The thing that helped me not to fall into that trap was by that time I knew some of the avatars.

  4. It is not like I have any prejudice against white stelettos it is more like the three Negro mothers to be in the beauty parlor with the first one saying my baby is gonna be a boy so he can grow up to be a lumber jack like his father. The second ladie says my baby is gonna be a girl so she can help her mother in the kitchen cookin for all her brothers. And what your baby gonna be, don't care one bit as long as he is black cause white is too hard to keep clean.

  5. Today here at the shop the owners have taken off for the day so I changed into my miniskirt to survive the heat and my Missimo Vena Paten Mary Jane that also came from Target. While they do not offer in store delevery like Payless they do offer in store returns which I have not needed. The $15 price was not too bad and with a 5.2 nich heel the tip of the toe angels up maling it quite easy to walk without starting to step out. That would also give enough room to change the heel to about 6.5 inch before the front of the shoe came level with the floar. While the orignal Mary Jane was chunky heel these are stiletto.

  6. There is something going on there. Somehow I can slip out of a very comfortable shoe and see that my foot is wider but unless the shoe gives me that little squeeze then they do not feel sexy. But now that I think of it when I am wearing compression hose then my foot looks about as narrow as the shoes that I like.

  7. Personally I find nothing shreds hosiery faster than mens's shoes.

Possibly a pair of Fry work boots that I have will do it faster. Somehow the thought of wearing men's shoes is distastefull porbably because I want to be a lesbian when I grow up. Also this whole subject is a good one for discussion and has shown to me some exceptions to the rules.
  8. Just at the moment because of some of my situation it makes it dificult to process socks so for the last few weeks been going without. Have mentioned a problem of swelling so so some times need to use compression hose and fortunatly that problem is taking a rest. My heavey duty work boots can be used with socks but if I do not happen to have them on I dump a touch of sawdust in the boots which protects from rubbing and absorbs the dirt and is disposable. With fancy pumps I go with pantyhose and about the only pantyhose that I have is 30/40 compression. Toe-ring sandals I wear without but I have converted a few pairs of opaque to mitten toe. My heavy duty sandals I wear without but dressy sandals with pantyhose like in my pix. There are a few pair of heavy duty socks that I wear with my ladies hiking boots. Still hanging out here at the shop and been practicing with my six inch stilettos and doing that barefoot and that makes it hard to get the toes in straight. Probably will use socks more after it cools for the winter.

  9. After using that glue called Liquid nails I would say maybe not for shoes. It is quite similar to hot glue but goes on with a solvent of some sort of Benzine like Xylene or Toluine but after curing it can be melted by heat. While perfict for a project that has no flexing of parts but requires joining of dissimilar materials here is some data that suggests that it has no tolerance for flexing whereas Weldwood certanly does. Just stay away from that toxic green label and use Orignal recipie.

  10. If I recal properly this sort of thing has been covered in other subjects and we no longer have that little list of similar topics at the bottom of the page. So anyway a week or so back I became concerned about a little sore spot at the corner of the bog toe and decided to go with the heavyduty sandals and not only did I get just a bit mo muscel stretching which was not too serrious but that discomfort in the ankle joint so I am staying with flats for most of the day until I get my ankle joints reconditioned.

  11. So it looks like this subject is being circulated by a different name. Hard telling what the designer had in mind with this design. It sort of reminds me of something that I got from a theology studant is this world is destened for a long time struggle between good and evil and when the people wise up and purge enough of the evil then those bad ideas will come back by a different name. So in the modern world of shoes the good ideas are getting old so it is just natural for the bad ideas to dredged up and circulated.

  12. The heel slides in place with a dovetail and from what I could see they were not all the same height as it did look like the chunky heel was maybe a half inch shorter. Without much dificulty a shoe body could accept a range of heels that were all close but not exact. The beaner did sort of spoil the thing but there was some proper einglish and I could understand the french girl. Actually I do remember a subject here on the idea of changable heels and I think they were threaded.

  13. That would not work for me. From the top view I can see that the big toe side does not have enough room to alow the big toe to keep a straight line with the bone behind it. While I have some square toe pumps that I can wear all day this noe would be painful with a few mindts of standing.

  14. If someone cannot attain the courage to put on a pair of heels and go to a mall, maybe they shouldnt do it. If someone can put on heels and go to the mall, good for them. Not everyone can drive a race car, not everyone can skydive. Many people cant balance their checkbooks.. I cant cook worth a damn ( dont ever come to dinner if I invite you, pick up a takeout order on your way here :D ).

What did work for me was to just push the limit. Here in Orange I can go to the mall in five inch stilettos and buy a pair and wear them back from there but long before that I actually had to sum up some courage to go out in Famolrie wedge heels and it was fun. No need to fail in defeat with the five inch stilettoes when there can be victory in two inch wedges.
