  1. I love strappy shoes. So does my SO. She just doesn't like them on me in public. You are a lucky person to have a wife that is cool with you expressing yourself with whatever footwear you want. What I want to do is get up the nerve to go to yoga with painted toes. You have to be barefoot in class and I'd love to have cute piggies.

  2. I love the french manicure and pedicure look. Its definately my favorite. I've worn sandals out with my piggies done frenchy and gotten no comments what so ever. This is in guy mode by the way.

  3. I've only done it in guy mode a few times. Once, I wore a pair of 3.5" heel boots that were velvet from Nine West, while pumping gas near my house. Another time, I did some banking with my chunky heel Mudd shoes. I've since gone out a few times with those Mudd shoes but they don't make any sound on the floor/pavement due to softer rubber heels, so I don't think they really count. ;)

I have seen some ballet flats made with a 1/2" heel available currently. Mickey just bought 2 pair from 2 different sources in 2 different colors.

    Cheers---

My SO and I just went shopping today and I actually saw the ballet flats with the slight heel. I still don't care for the style all that much though, but they are an improvement over the completely flat ones.

  5. ...When you're at the mall you're in a fashion driven environment. And ladies fashion today is heels. Period. I don't care what ANYONE says, ballet flats are OUT OUT OUT!!!...

That's funny. While I personally agree with you, I'd have to say that is not entirely true. I see a lot of ballet flats at shoe stores these days. My SO has been looking at several pairs and I have successfully convinced her not to buy them each time, but she keeps going back. I think they are the ugliest shoes and it really is the only place where we disagree on shoe cuteness. We joke about the "minimum heel requirement", but in actuality, I think that shoes should have a heel to begin with, even if it is only 1/2 inch.

  6. I met my fiancee on the internet. While she would have given me the boot if I had told her about my CDing before we got somewhat serious in our relationship, she was glad I shared it with her and didn't keep it a secret after we started to get serious. I think that the internet gives people a very easy way to filter out what doesn't match their exact expectations. I suspect that they will eventually relax their unbelievably high standards after they have trouble finding someone who meets them. And Johnieheel, I have to ask, do you wear heels to work? If so, what have you worn?
