  1. Hi azrealle, Thank you! I've had my hair this colour for about 2 years, my niece is a hairdresser and she had fun doing it, and I kept it that way as I liked it. I'm 24, and thankfully have had no problems being employed with my hair this colour. (I work part-time as a special effects artist.) As far as Monty Python, it's no problem that you don't like it. There's probably lots of other things that we have in common and can chat about on the boards!

  2. Francis, Cheers and thanks for liking my pinky-purpley hair! Azrealle, I'm sorry you don't like Python, but not everyone shares your point of view, being our thread is on its' 4th page... Yam-yam, I didn't hear that he died, what a shame. I did enjoy watching that show. "These are small, and those are far away!" (cue Dougal shaking his head) That was a good episode, Graham Norton was on it. I watch So Graham Norton. I pretty much only watch BBC America. Coupling is really funny, oh Changing Rooms is another good show... Ok, new Python question.. Who plays the vet in the 'Confuse a Cat' skit?

  3. Hi, I wondered if anyone had specific brands of stockings or nylons which seem to hold up better than others. I know different manufacturers vary in their quality. And we all hate when we get a run in our first night of wearing new stockings! Let me know what brands/types you think are the best!!

  4. Hi Laurie, No, I prefer my car over a Cruiser. Funny though, the PT Cruiser is considered a Hearse meets Prowler by Chrysler. PT Cruisers are way too expensive for me, and not my style. As for why I picked my car, I wanted a hearse since I was 6 and saw one on the freeway. It's great for me because it was a car I could afford by myself, full coverage insurance is just $30 a year, and I can always find where I've parked. I also don't have to get a yearly smog check since it was made before 1973. It was a hearse used for a funeral home in San Francisco, so that may be why it looks like one for a pet cemetary. I am used to getting picked on for the car I drive, among other things (not insinuating that you are picking on me, though  ). Although I have received more negative comments from people who are younger, while I have received only compliments from people who are elderly. Kinda odd. Anyway, it runs great (only took short trips when it was in use & hearses are kept in great condition by funeral homes). My family and I even take it camping. I've heard of the Harold & Maude hearse, a '59 Cadillac. I've never seen the movie. That model of hearse is very sought after among hearse collectors...

  5. I think it depends on the position you apply for & who the employer is. I'd wear stiletto heels though, I'd go with what a previous person mentioned, and stick to basic black. It can look very professional if paired with the right outfit. I don't think 6 inch stiletto red leather ankle boots, would be the right thing for me to wear to a job interview. Darn it, it'd be fun though. :(

  6. What experiences have you had with your ballet heels? I would like to buy a pair, (US women's 10, or UK  and wanted to know your voice of experience. (If anyone has a used pair for sale in that size, email me!) Best styles? Trusted retailers? Highest quality? Since buying a pair is a big investment, at least to me a poor university student, I'd like to know what you feel. I know all of you can offer good advice!
