Well I was able to finally go through with it and have my first real public outing. I was on a road trip which gave me the chance to wear heels. It was a sudden road trip and I did not have a chance to bring my own pair of high heels. However,the hotel I was staying at was beside a second hand store so I went in and bought a pair of boots. (they were about 3.25 inch heel plus not there was not much selection to choose from) I never was one to buy boots before this but tried and and realized that it might be easier to try in public than high heels shoes (at least that is what I was thinking) I then walked went back to the hotel and put the boots on and took the elavator down to car garage and drove to a mall that was really busy. I walked around the mall. It was felt so amazing, scary, thrilling all at the same time. I then drove to a burget joint and ate at a table then drove back to hotel. There was no incident-not even sure anyone noticed me. If it was not for this site and reading about all of you and your experiences I never would have done it. I took a picture with my blackberry and will try to upload it (the picture is not the best quality)

Hello, I was hoping to get some advice (hopefully too from the women out there). Since finding the site - I seem to have become a bit more couraegous in that I recently approached a lady who was wearing these wonderful shoes. I went up and excused my self but commented her on her heels.....she started curing at me and calling me a wierdo..... So is there a way to proper way to comment you ladies on your heels? I know that everyone on this site loves heels and may love a compliment but just thought I would seek advice for next time.

Hello from another fellow canuck. I am in exactly your situation. I have bought and sold many a pair of shoes. I too hid it from my wife and when she found out my love for heels-(she found some pictures I had) I just said it was nothing. This discovery had been in the first couple months. I brushed the issue aside as she was freaked out and thouth the same that I was gay and no man should be wearing heels. So just brushed it under the rug and have to hide my heels at work and access this site from there.....If I could have started over I should have been honest from the start - But you are at the right place. I have been here one month and wished I had discovered this site and the great people sooner.

Well my plan did not go as I had hoped. My work place decided to sent a few of us on the road trip so I was not able to go the casino route as planned as those who came with me are huge gamblers. However I did manage to do somewhat of my first public outing. I wore them in the car and went for a drive and pulled up to a Mc Ds restaurant and I did go in and place an order and eat at a table.. It was very nerve raking but felt so wonderful.....I guess it was a baby step.. I will have to wait till next trip in January......with the holidays coming I will be away from the site and my shoes.....

Hello, Been away from the site for a few days as I was away from work. I think that I might try my first public outing this week. I have a work road trip and will be staying at a hotel that is attached to a casino. Which I'm thinking may be a good place to have my "first". The casino will be loud and usually darker. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas. I plan to try my first outing in a pair of ankle boots with a 3in heel.

We have been married for 6 years now. My love for heels became a huge issue in the first few months of marriage. She found pictures of heels on my computer and she got very upset and disgusted with me. I have since had to hide it from her. Hate that I have to hide it from her and I wish I could be honest but not sure she can handle it.

Hello, It was been so wonderful that I found this site (for couple weeks now). I so envy those whom have been able to venture out in public - something I want to try (say maybe in the next couple weeks as I have a work trip coming and will be away from home) For those whom have read my comments - I have keep this a huge secret and not shared my passion for heels until this site. I'm so happy that I'm not alone and just by reading all the nice comments - I have started to not "hate myself" for this passion but just enjoy the rare moment I have gotten to wear heels. So not to go on forever - is there any tips to follow the first time

Mine does not know and it will not be a nice situation when she does. Since I've found this site a couple weeks ago - I'm always wanting to log on but I have to reframe from doing from home and continue at work. This way she will not find out.

For the kind advice CRabbit so what do you do with you shoes if your wife does not approve. Do you have to hide them from her? When I'm not throwing them out - I have to hide a pair in the basement where I know she will not look.
