  1. So now that I've had them for a few days, I can give some feedback!

The Brash sling backs fit perfectly, I tightened up the strap and I have to say they are quite nice to walk around in! My last heeling sessions being so long ago, I can go about 15 minutes walking before my feet need a break lol.

The Christian Siriano shooties are a little tighter on my feet and you can feel the height definitely, but they look so....sexy. I think after wearing them a little they will stretch out. Wish I had a nice skirt or trouser to pair with them!

Here are a few photos of them!

let me know what you all think of the photos!

Great choices! They both look great. The Shooties are verry sexy!!!

  2. Picked these like new dressy cowgirl boots up off of Ebay recently. Bakers brand, Dixie style, about a 4.25 inch stiletto heel, pointed toe, tan leather uppers, partial zipper (ends just below the pull tabs). They're size 11B US womens, seem to run a bit small on my 9.5 (men's) foot, mainly due to the narrow toe, but wearable for a little while.

Those boots are awesome! And I luv that skirt and belt!
  3. Here are some pictures of the Alexander Wang Constance booties.

The instep is leaned a bit forward and gives a strange feeling. Heel height is 15cm (6") and the platform 3cm (1.25") so you get 12cm (4.8") difference and the instep is really steep. I would say the feeling is more extreme than in the CL Pigalle 120 (13.9cm) or Brian Atwood Nico 120 (13.1cm). Not very easy to walk -at least for me-.

They fit well... I'm a 11.5 in the Brannock device and these are 41 so, quite true to size.

    OMG, those booties are awesome!!!

  4. Hi Guys

Thoughtg I'd show my new Zoom platform heels. Size 8 and very very comfortable. I would like a pair in hidden platform also with peeptoe. Still looking however.

(As gift to myself, also got my left nipple pierced today. Wanted t wear my heels, bought thought it was pushing it a bit. )

Awesome shoes! And they look great with your nylons! Congrats on your piercing too! I have wanted to do that!

Despite doing my best to not spend money, I wandered into our local Debenhams department store yesterday to have a look at what was available in the sales (I had a failed first meeting with a girl earlier in the week, so was sort of trying to console myself) nearly eveytyhing is in the sale but seemingly nothing more than I've seen before and not been bothered by - other than tucked around a corner on the size 8 stand, if found these; Kara D-Ring, by Jonathan Kelsey.

Listed as eu42, I popped a shoe on and was clocked by a female customer the other side of the stand - she clearly saw, appeared a little bemused as she kept looking back but made no adverse looks or remarks.

However as trying not to needlessly spend money I walked away....and found a duck feather filled duvet set for £33 down from £110...anyway I digress, needless to say I found myself tortured by the image and feel of the shoes, so ended going back today to both the shoes and the duvet set.

This time I decided to be far braver to try on both shoes and walk round to a mirror where I had no chance of hiding. I eyeballed one male customer as I put them on, then wandered round to the mirror, looking to attract the attention of a sales staff but was already busy serving someone else.

Great buzz as ever, male customer seemed to be discussing the fact with his partner, as I walked back past them to the till.

Anyway, here they are, a comfy size 42, with a long enough point for my longer second toes to not be crushed up but will force a little bit of foot shaping :); 4" & 10/16ths high at the back of the heel.

    Big D

    Great story and great pumps!

  6. Attached is a picture of my Nine West Naughty flats. They are listed as black patent, but they didn't really shine until I used the Urad patent leather cleaner/polisher (Vernice - great product).

I too really like flats, nice choice!

  7. Steve Madden Gwenn clog boots. They're over the knee (barely), tops can cuff down about 3 inches, leather with real wood soles. The total heel height (partly hidden) is 6 inches and the platform is 1 inch, size 11. They're comfortable, solid feeling to walk in, and will definitely be worn out of the house on occasion.

Last fall they were $299, I got them last week on SmartBargains.com for $80.

    Great boots!

  8. I often spend hours browsing ebay looking out for anything that catches my eye, 99% of the time it's all crap or priced too high. But the other night i came across a pair of heels that i've wanted since i saw my girlfriend in her's almost a year ago! I messaged the seller right away asking for a buy it now price but to my dissapointment they declined to stop the auction for a set price. Never the less i felt optimistic and i thought i'd try my luck and i messaged them once again offering my price and i'd pay on pick-up of the item. I got a reply today with the seller accepting my offer. I called the seller as she provided me with her phone number to arrange pick-up which was only half an hour away from me. Earlier tonight i drove there and picked them up, im SO happy i finally got my hands on my very own pair of these after falling in love with them the moment i saw them on my girlfriend's feet! Hope you all like them as much as i do... :silly:

Sexy shoes and I luv that dress! Thanks for sharing

  9. Just two bought from eBay UK the last month (more on their way):

The "Next" being ~5" with almost an inch platform, and would/will look so great this spring (possibly with a nice summery skirt/dress; suggestions, anyone ?)

The other ones, "Love Label", are a tad higher, almost 6 inches, with ~1½" platform. Also great looking, with a newly acquired light tan knee leather skirt (pictures coming up :silly:

    /A.

Awesome choices! I luv them both!
