All of my treasured heels are never less than 4 inches. Besides, I have a very small collection and certainly I will never throw them out unless they are worn off.

I didn't save up money to buy any heels before because of fear of freaking my folks out. But when my dad asked me if I liked the shoe on the display window one fine day, I gladly took this opportunity to tell him yes.. My mum did not say a thing and I knew that as long as my dad gave the go-ahead, mum will not object to it. Dad even paid for all of my subsequent purchases.

Yeah... I thought about it for a while. Perhaps not but I do like the looks of oxford pumps. Anyway, I think I will stick to the reliable pair of pumps for interviews. Thanks...

I am still a long way off

My collection so far is 15. Miserable, right ? I get my shoes from overseas so I rarely get a chance to shop for a pair of heels here. Storing them is not a problem as I have lots of space in my wardrobe. For my next pair of shoes, I am thinking of getting a pair of Oxford pumps (Black, either patent or matt) 5 inch stiletto heels. I would like to seek some opinion from everyone here. What do you think of Oxford pumps for job interviews ? Oxford pumps are not common here. Thanks...

Sometimes, you can tell if a man is interested in a certain kind footwear that a girl wears. I particular notice that from my male friends around me. I think it should be fun and also a pleasant surprise.

The stiletto heel is still the best looking high heel shoes around. platforms are really ugly looking.

Yeah... I agree with you because I stay in Singapore and I see it everyday. Here, I just don't get it... Platform shoes are very popular among the teens. Very ugly shoes, though. :eek: But I am happy to say that mules are making a comeback here. I hope that stiletto heels would become a common appearance here.

I remembered going for an interview for a temporary position as a project coordinator about a year ago. I wore a pair of 4 inch black patent slingbacks with a black knee length skirt and white blouse. The interview was conducted in a meeting room. The interviewer wanted a "more informal" approach to the interview by conducting it away from the table by pushing two chairs away from it (He has all the unobstructed view to my skirt, legs and shoes). During the interview, he was stealing glances to my legs and shoes. Anyway, I tunred down the offer.
