Hee Hee... Sometimes I find my brother's wardrobe boring... Guys have a limited choice in clothes. Lucky to be a girl....

There are always things happening around us and if it involves heels... we hae a new topic to discuss and share.

Would be very embarassing if I trip over while trying to walk in 7 inch heels...

I have been wearing trainers and outdoor training sandals for the last two days. Itching for heels but seems inappropriate for lectures here as stiletto heels are not worn in university by students. However, last sunday, I wore a pair of 4.5 inch stiletto heeled mules with black patent straps. [ This Message was edited by: Nata on 2002-03-26 04:47 ]

Yeah... I remembered watching Julia Roberts in the movie "Pretty Woman"... I really like the boots she wore in the film. Here in Singapore, thigh high boots are not suitable because of the hot weather and also, you will be inviting a lot of stares and criticisms from the people here.

Well... It depends on whether his compliments correlate well with his facial expression and also the tone of his voice.

Agree with you, Debbie

I have to say that the feeling is different but I think I am not turned on just by wearing heels. May people associate the wearing of heels to sexual desires. I do notice that guys are turned on by girls wearing heels.

Hee Hee... Dear Moderators... Please don't throw me out, ok ??? i am just listening to my mentors

It would be a challenge but I think I am not up to it ...

High Heels especially stiletto heels will never fade away because there are people like us who will make it a point to be seen by others wearing it. The same goes for the discussion. It will never fade away, right ? Laurie and Debbie, you agree ???

I am still working on wearing 4.5 inch to 5 inch heels on a regular basis. But I think 7 inch heels are impossible for me.

To me as a student. I find the event shocking and unbelievable. To turn a commercial airplanes into weapons. Sigh ! Here in Asia, the economic downturn has already affected many. With this horrible incident, it is making the asian stock markets topsy turvy.

Oh dear... I am still making very slow progress...

However, I hate those wooden parquet floorings when I don't need that attention especially in the library.
-
Yes... I have already damaged some of my heel tips because of iron grills.
-
So far, I notice that tapping the floor with the front part of my shoes while sitting does attract attention. No problem at all when walking because the sound produced by the heels can travel. As for added attention, I will wear an anklet as well.

Well... I don't have anything against them as long as they don't give us silly names or passing any silly comments about us.

It has to be the day when I tried high heels for the first time. I went straight from flats to 4 inch heels and I wore that for only an hour and it nearly killed me. However that did not deter me and now I can wear heels for a day if I want.

Recently, I took a carefully look at all my high heel shoes and I notice that most of them are manufactured in China. So far, has anyone sighted any girls in high heels in China ?

The biggest hurdle for me when I started wearing heels is wearing it for the first time. With no prior experience of wearing heels, I jumped into 4 inch heels. The first time was tough for me. Even though my parents accepted the idea of me wearing heels at that time (17 years old then), my peers were still in trainers and platforms. I was attracting a lot of attention. But after a while, I have got used to it and I just ignore them now.

Hi Inga and Debbie. I think the platform is popular among young girls because they think that it gives more stability and some platforms are rather flat on the sole even though the platform is about 4 inches high which gives height elevation. However, I find platforms difficult to tackle too... what's more... they are ugly looking. So why settle for something that is equally challenging but hideous in appearance ? [ This Message was edited by: Nata on 2002-03-17 13:51 ]

Yeah, Debbie. I have lots of mothballs and dehumidifiers in the wardrobe for that purpose. Every two weeks, I will take the shoes out, give them a good coating of shoe polish and one final coat of Armor All Protectant to seal the coat. Can't take any risks against the elements, especially when all these shoes are presents from my daddy.

Yesterday, I saw a young junior college girl (17 years old or so) donning her school t-shirt, shorts and stiletto heeled mules (about 3.5 inches). She was heading towards the gym in the health club. Even though I was in 4 inch heels, I could not help but stare at her because, besides me, she is the the other known student that I come across, wearing stiletto heels.

i have not gone anything past 5 inches... So if someone wears anything higher, I will have to be contended with my 5 inches. Not easy to be wearing heels that are higher than your usual daily wear.
