I meant low as in referring to a say 1 or 2 inch heel. my highest shoes are 4.5 inch so i wouldbt say i was speaking for the fetish 9 inch platform community, i just meant that you can hardly tell youre wearing a 2 inch heel, i prefer say about 4 inches or a bit above to get the feeling i like

I dont know about other people, but as we lads are usually gonna get stick for doing what we wanna do most, I find it daft to wear low heels as i can hardly tell that theres a heel there. I like to feel a nice change in my balance and walk otherwise the pressures of been a shy new guy overweigh the pleasure. To me the smaller heels arent really worth the effort. would anyone agree

Count me in for the Sat 4th folks. got the day off work, but might have to depart from you all to catch the 6.00 train, according to the train office, if i get a later train its gonna cost another £12 for the ticket. Hows that for service eh. Although a fairly newbee to heeling and indeed the meets, i just have never seen the point in wearing high heels unless they are high (nothing excessive) so although still shy i will be wearing my 4.5 inch block heels hidden under my jeans Also thanks to firefox for the tip of woolworths stick on rubber heels, i purchased some to make the heels quiet Im still deciding whether to wear them from the second i get out of the car at Doncaster, or be chicken and bring a pair of trainers in a bag and change in the toilets at a tube station (eek decisions ) Lookin forward to next sat now. so i should stuff the shoe with damp paper, would this be enough to put the pressure on the shoe to stretch it. I dont seem to have had much luck constructing the wooden stretchers, my craftsmanship is a bit poor. Saying that you dont really get much practice working in a bank

Loveheel, my jeans hide the heel practically completely, is this the case for you, i can understand the contrast, black shoes against blue jeans would stand out more but the boots are fairly normal. although i think people may look cos my feet would appear so small. the shoes are short due to the quite high heel

Im interested, for London, providing the good kind boss will let me have the day off work. Who wears heels on the meets usually, as im still a novice.

I like to wear my boots with jeans. They have a bit of a flare and are quite long, so they hide the heel nicely, and the toe is square, so probably only a very sharp eyed observant person would tell the difference. Ive read about co-ordinating the heeled shoes with an 'outfit', would jeans with the boots surpass by other peoples opinions here??

I find it hard to imagine that some people you see can have legs that are so 'unflexible' if you like. Many a time i see women round town hobbling along in like a 2 inch heel as if they were fetish 6 inch heels. Been a man and not 'expected' to be as experienced in heel wearing as women who do it everyday, its a nice feeling in a way to know that i can wear a 4.5 in heel, possibly a bit more without any probs.

for those with sizes upto size 8, MKone do a nice block heel boot called 'Gerbill' (strange name i know) heel about 4.5in, + v mini plat with a sq toe. made me feel much more comfy in streetheeling and they do feel quite high. They also have a nice pair of stiletto boots with the same height heel for the not so discreet heelers

without the internet to boost the belief that my interest was not wierd but only different, and also without my lovely girlfriend behind me all the way, i would never have managed an outdoor experience

Few questions for you expert shoe repairers Ive just recently bought a nice pair of blocks, but as they are, theyre quite noisy. Can the repair shops put a rubber sole on the heel to make them quiet, or any ideas DIY?? Also im wanting to stretch a pair of stiletto boots. They have a point toe, and the standard 'Firefox' stretchers wont fit anywhere near into the shoe properly. The material is the sort of fake leather, not sure of the name. thx Daz
