  1. I found out that it's made of PU, but it has quite a leathery look to it (now imagine how it would look if it were made of jan-u-wine leather )- that outfit looks great!
I prefer things made from real leather too

I have a pair of PU pants and unless it's freezing cold and there's no chance of me sweating, they're unbearable. I don't know how people can claim to wear them to clubs where they're dancing and sweating.

However, when I was little, I had another pair of PU pants and they were quite bearable, but they were fragile and I had to fix them a lot.

  2. Kodona is cute  I prefer, though, the more grown-up lolita style that Mana wears. Random info: According to rumour, Mana is straight but claims to be posessed by the spirit of a women. Some lucky lady might be Mana's beau.

  3. My boyfriend shaves his legs because I'm not quite fond of the forest of leghair he has the potential to grow. Hell, he shaves them more often than I shave my own x.x I hate shaving my legs.

  4. It depends on whom I want to impress. If it's impressing one of my peers [a potential friend or mate] I wear dark jeans, a black button-down shirt, patent leather doc martins, and a bunch of classy silver jewelry. If I'm dressing to impress an official in my school or something of that nature, I wear "preppy" clothes - nice jeans or khakis, a polo shirt, and the patent docs or my classy converse [grey wool, grey bottoms, brass eyelets, a red stripe on the side of the sole] If I'm going to impress someone REALLY important, I will wear a black pinstripe skirt- or pants-suit with a white blouse, and 5-inch-heel shoes with large silvertone buckle on each. I'll wear nice jewelry but not an excessive ammout, usually just my Thor's hammer, a pentegram, my watch, and a few rings. If I wear a skirt, I wear the 5-inch heels, and if I wear pants I wear the docs.

  5. I think men are definitely repressed fashion-wise. I dress mostly in male-type clothes, but I'm perfectly free to do so - I can wear BDUs, a male-cut shirt, and combat boots without the majority people automatically making the snap judgement that I'm a lesbian [which I am not] Men can't dress outside their gender, or even wear certain things IN their gender [tight t-shirts, flare jeans even if made for a man] without a lot of people making a judgement about their sexuality. Women can wear clothes of either gender, men are restricted to a few basic styles in their clothes gender. Fair? I didn't think so. Of course, I've seen some very tasteless crossdressing and people 'doing it just to do it' If a man dresses in women's clothing, that's no reason for him not to follow the basics of aesthetic.

  6. I've finally worked up the interest to get a below-the-knee length skirt. I'd want it to stop just there, though. Just to give it a whirl, if nothing else. I don't know for sure if I'd stick with it or not. My goal is to find a CD-friendly shop that would measure me and provide me with a simple enough, basic black something for test purposes.

    Go to goodwill!

I know it dosen't have a savory reputation as a place to get good clothes, but 2nd hand stores are good for buying experimental clothes in. You can try on different skirts to find your size and if you end up not liking the skirt you bought, it's not like you lost more than $5 on it.

  7. These

Amazingly, I found them both for under $100 and I just need to decide between the two. The first pair are really neat-looking because they're silver which is kind of uncommon especially on a shoe of that style, but I'm afraid that they might be TOO gothic to wear around, considering I'm too young to go to clubs. The second pair are pretty neutral and I'd probably be able to wear them in almost any situation, but on the other hand they lack the shininess I want when I want to wear shininess.

    Opinions?

  8. Pointy shoes look better with jeans than they do with a skirt, but either way, they're not too attractive to me. I had a pair of pointy-toe boots and I didn't like them all that much because they were just so uncomfortable [patent leather ankleboots with a transparent panel on the side and a clear heel] They were a bit too noisy for my tastes though. I'd rather go softly clop-clop-clop-clop in chunky heels or big platforms, rather than clik-clik-clik*scuff*clik-clik in pointy stillettos.

  9. I voted for the female wearing skirts/sarongs/kilts thing.

I like skirts and such that hit knee-length or lower, even to the floor. I have a kilt I made and I have a few peasant skirts, even a few gothic-looking long black denim skirts. Some days, I don't feel like putting my legs through two separate holes to get dressed.

I personally think guys in skirts/kilts look good as long as they have the body to do it [a lot of girls wear skirts and don't have a sutable shape]

    Skirts can be quite manly.

  10. I don't really like flip flops aside from the fact that when I need to go to the store or whatnot really quick they take the least effort of all my shoes [mostly boots and tennishoes] They make my toes cramp up though after a while. High-heeled sandals of the same arrangement are even worse because I have to worry about keeping them on my feet AND keeping my balance. I can do one or the other - not both

  11. I wear anything from a 7.5 to a 9.5 US sizes, depending on the brand, but usually I wear 8s. I guess they're a big big for me being 5'3" [most people my height I've asked wear 7s] but I'd like to wear a solid 9 so there would be more shoes in my size. A lot of people must wear 8s, so it's hard for me to find size 8s that aren't picked from.
