This is a pair of platforms that I would consider, and I'm not much for platforms. I haven't seen a pair of shoes with that much toe cleavage in a few years. Are they a current season style?

They were on the Sale rack at Dillards - and on sale for $31.......

So I guess they are the last seasons version, but I like them.

I was encouraged by the stories, so I finally ventured the nerve to go out in my painted nails and heels (two separate trips). The other night, I was wearing a pair of sandals around the house (first picture attached) and my wife came home and mentioned that her car needed gas (my job). I went for the loafers and then thought - NOW is as good a time as any, purple toenails and all. I jumped in the car and went down to the gas station at the freeway and pulled up on the freeway side and proceeded to pump her gas. The pump receipt dispenser wasn't working and I had to go in and get a receipt. The station was packed - a few looks but no comments. I survived!! Today I felt like wearing my newest heels home from work (second picture attached) and noticed that I needed gas as well. So, again I find a busy station and get out, fill up the vehicle, and went home. There was a guy in a Mercedes behind me and a lady and a police officer on the other side - along with the feeder traffic I deliberately parked next to. Again, a few looks - no comments - and I survived again!! Ordered some black leather wedge boots (5 inch heel, 1 inch platform) today. Time to go out for real this time....... Thanks guys (and gals) for all the support. Never been happier.

The Orange is Atomic Orange by OPI or Original Orange by Finger Paints.

The Red is Rudolph Red (with sparkles) by OPI or Red My Fortune Cookie by OPI (the one by my car).

I am ALWAYS complimenting women on their shoes/boots/nail polish, and have only ever received thanks in return. I haven't thought to ask where they got them. Sounds like I have a new plan.....

These are the only other views I have. I really liked this pair, but they finally wore out and I donated them.

Just got these today. Vince Camuto - 9.5 Milsey 2 Peep Toe. Right one needs a little breaking in, but VERY nice. Dillards - on sale! Got them on a tip from a friend - you know who you are..........

Probably one of these. I suppose it depends on the definition of "Girliest"..... There are bows, strappy, platforms, etc. I like them all.

My latest.... Fergie Sanibel and BCBG Sahara.

I have a 2010 Mazda MX-5 PRHT and my wife has a 2008 BMW 335i Coupe. Both 6 speed gearboxes, and they are a hoot to drive in heels.

I use black, dark grey, or dark blue nail polish on my toenails, and I shave my legs and feet. I have had only one comment about the nails - just to tease me and another comment on my shaved legs - "You're a guy. Why bother shaving your legs?".

Most people could not care any less about those things.

I shave legs, feet, chest, hands, everything except my arms, and I mostly have a bright Red, Pink, or Orange nail polish on my toes (Clear on my hands). I try and stick with the red because it matches my car

I have a standing appointment in an upscale salon every three weeks for a manicure and a pedicure. The other women in the shop always come around and talk about the latest trends in colors and see what I am going to do this time. They have even commented I have better taste in nail polish than most of them - and how my feet are softer than there's. The lady who does mine has several men she takes care of - it seems to be NO issue at all here (and this is Texas, which even surprises me).

Painted nails (Clear on my hands, something wild on my toes) Stockings (Once in a while) Willing to try others, just haven't decided when and how....

My stylist knows I have painted toenails, I'm pretty sure she wouldn't care about some of my heels. It's just me that has to get up the nerve.

I have purchased two new pairs - and they arrived today. However, I am too "new" to be able to post pictures just yet. When the time comes, I will return and post them for us. A teaser - BCBG BG-Bahamas and Fergie Sanibel - yum.

Hey all! First post and this seemed as good as any...... I am a Women's 9.5 in a sandal, 10 (mostly) in a closed toe. I like everything from super high platforms down to a cute pair of flats (only one pair) - as long as they are cute! Two pair are due at my door today - so pictures will be posted in the appropriate place when I get them. I hope to get to know you all as time goes on.
