  1. I have figured out a way to make your ballet boots more comfortable. Your toes will not touch at all which make them much easier to walk in and much more comfortable. I have placed a steel bar inside mine that has an L shape in the toe box. The flat bar is then bolted through the sole about midfoot. I then cut out a piece of 1/4 inch plywood in the shape of the boot from about midfoot to the toe and place it in the boot. This make the boot very tight around the foot but the toes don't touch. The L on the steel bar keeps the toes from bending down. This keeps the heel at the same height when weight is applied. I have actually walked around in a mall while wearing mine for about 30 minutes comfortably.

  2. If I wear heels with my normal man clothes people ask questions. Most commonly one of 2. Are you gay? or Did you lose a bet? When dressed, no makeup or wig just clothes like a mini skirt, people don't say much or have much reaction. The most reaction I get is from women who generally say nice shoes, wish I could walk in them. The occasional laugh is a given. With my size men don't say a word. This let's me have my fun and noone gets hurt. I place the chains and locks on as an added measure in case someone does say something then I can say I lost a bet. This diffuses any further questions.

  3. I am a >6' man who like to wear the highest heels possible. I have found that if I wear them with a mini skirt or dress people are less likely to say anything about it. I wear platforms or spike heels but mostly like to wear ballet heels. Posted Image

I support anyone who likes to wear heels, but especially Love to see my wife in heels.

  4. I too was in this situation. I found the best selection of shoes at the Las Vegas Mall of all places. There are 2 malls the Fashion mall which has some good shoes stores and the regular mall where I found the best selection. The regular mall is well of the strip but worth the trip. There is also a chain of second hand shops in Vegas that have a good selection. Sorry I can't remember the name though.
