You know, the bad thing is that we saw at least 30+ women wearing shoes that were WAY WAY too large. Even if they were borrowed it is still not an excuse for looking like a duff-us.

From Mrs. Weird One, Why is it? Please tell me someone. Why is it that some woman buy shoes that are way to big for them? So let me tell you why I bring this up. My husband and I went away for the weekend to celebrate New Years and while we were out we had noticed many woman had on shoes that were at least 1/2 to 1 size too large. Please, give me a break. How would one find that appealing to do the granny shuffle in a pair of large shoes especially out in public. I had seen young children try to wear their mothers heels but give me a cotton - pic ken - break. If you are an adult (and to wear heals you should be) why not buy some heels that fit? We had seen beautiful dresses that should have been matched with beautiful shoes but that was definitely not the case. Ya, know. Nobody ever said that fashion was was not painful. I guess that it's quite except-able to squeeze a fat butt into a pair of small jeans and in allot of cases it looks ok but to put small feet into a pair of boats is just plain wrong. A word of advice to all woman whom think that it is ok to wear ill fitting shoes. "You do not look good - nothing about it is appealing" Now on the other hand if you want to look stupid, shuffle around and look like a little child in heals, be my guest. But be an adult and DON'T DO IT IN PUBLIC!!!

Dear UpBy5 this is Mrs. Weird1, Sorry to say that I don't have any sisters - I guess they broke the mold when they made me. Ha Ha. Just a word though, Woman these days need to be more open with themselves as well as others. Come out of their boxes and stop being so stuffy - take a deep breath. It's time to realize that it takes all kinds to make the world go round. So what if your husbands or boyfriends wear heels - IT MAKES THEM HAPPY! Lets put it this way. If your husband or boyfriend was on their death bed - wouldn't it bring you peace to know that they had a happy life instead of having to hide things, like heeling from you. Wouldn't it be a great feeling to know that they lived a happy life. Why hold small things against them when such a small thing makes them happy. There are so many worse things that people can do. So UpBy5, I wish I had all this sisters in the world to fulfill the quota but unfortunately I don't - I just wish that people would be more understanding and realize that being sexy or happy just isn't for woman anymore. Spread the word - go shoe shopping with your Husbands - you might enjoy it? Matter of fact, we both have today off and are going shoe shopping - you might just find us @ Great Lakes Crossings.

Well Canuck, This is Misses Weird 1 - Lets take this from a understanding woman's perspective. There is nothing more fun than having a male husband that enjoys shopping for shoes as well as wearing them. I cannot believe that your "girlfriend" said what she has said. In essence it would be like her telling you to give up your favorite hobby. Would you do that - would you give up something that you love? If she was any kind of an understanding woman and if she cared about you like I'm sure she must have said, then she would totally understand. EVERYONE has their quirks and my husband is no different. There is nothing wrong with wanting to come home and feel nice or pretty. It is not just reserved for the females!!!! She needs to get over herself. You could always turn it into a game - you could do what we do. You get a pair / I get a pair. It works out great for both of us. Besides if you can't have a friend & a lover there is no use to stay together.

We did our first walk and it was great - turns out that we could have done 2 miles. Watching all the guys stumble around was quite funny, even the wife stumbled once, haha. The only thing that bothered us is that there was not a very good turn out we thought that there should have been more advertisement. Turn out was only about 60 - 70 people. But we did it and it was FUN!

Walking through a store the other day with the wife, we made a B line right for the shoe section. A pair of peep toes were calling my name so I tried them on without even thinking whom might be around us - I just did it - WOW! Turns out that it was a great move because now I have another wonderful shoe for my collection and the wild thing is - is that they were only $9.95 marked down from $50.00 what a bargain!!! Larry

I see one bootie, and pair of low heels. Was expecting 2 pairs of boots (ankle or higher), and a higher pair of heels (equated 'vacuum in' with 'bedroom heels', ie. high). Maybe I misinterpreted.

the lowest heel is the square toe and is 3 1/2"

the next highest is the round toe pump is 4 1/4" with a 1/2" platform

the bootie is 5" with a 3/4" platform

nothing screamingly high though.
