  1. There is only one part I disagree. It is that kind of stereotype who never wants to learn the unknown or new seen appearances. Some kinds of stereotypes are never able to be convinced. Of course it will be a small group after all... I still think it is a very good descission to reframe our cause. I'm at your side from now on and I shall do my very best to explain the people asking me about wearing heels. Mostly I would say that I'm having fun with it even while being a hetero sexual person. If people ask me what am I proving then I'd tell them that I am not proving anything, but I am more likely putting up an example of people who are wanting to have fun in one way or another. Of course it is a very difficult matter to explain and I will think this over and over because you are right about the engage this gently. We musn't give the stereotypes the incorrect ideas.

  2. Finally my first adventure started and was more than happy to participate in this. My first true heel adventure. Still there are no pictures yet, but we have made quite a lot and they'll be ready by the fifteenth of januare. Please be patient.

    Friday the 6th of Januare.

As I woke up with excitement, my mother already made me some coffee. The first thing I did was looking at meh heels that I had next to the table. "Am I this obsessed??" I wondered by thought. Nah! I call it passioned.

Fortunately, I had my bag packed for the weekend to spend at my friends their place in Rotterdam (Holland). One less issue to worry about. So I took some time to get rid of that sleepy feeling as I took tiny sips from the cup and as excited I were, a force of energy burst throughout my entire body and I jumped up to get ready for the day.

My mother had to leave for work so I was left alone which wasn't that much of a problem. I promised to do the dishes and so I did. It was like 10:00 AM and still full of energy. It was too good to be true! Anyway, I decided to fresh up for take off and put up a little make-up by applying a line of black eyeliner underneath my eyes. After that I needed to shave which I hate so awefully! I think I will burn those hairs on my chin and my mustage away with a cigarette. Such a method worked for my mother's legs so why not for me. I know it sounds strange for a (h/m)etero sexual man to do that but personally I hate beards and mustage upon my own face.

My hair wasn't a problem at all. It needed only a treatment by the brush and after ten minutes of wasting my life in front of the mirror, I was ready to go. So I put on my high heeled boots which look like these http://www.bananashoes.com/media/Ele2000BPU.jpg and my long black 'citizen' winter coat (no picture of that one) that almost reaches my ankles and I left the building with a backpack.

The weather was clouded, no wind, so I was glad because I hate wind when I wear my hair loose. So off to the trainstation and while that trip I enjoyed the clicking sounds produced by these boots and I also didn't have to worry about being spotted. I wanted to be spotted and of course people were looking. It is within their nature to set eyes on the sounds of clicking boot heels it seemed. Mostly women, for their extreme sense of detecting high heels, were looking at my face and after spotting the heels. However, what I really find a shame of people is no stranger these days is spontanious enough to comment me on my heels. Especially on the streets and in stores. Being a goth, they rather not wish to talk to me than gathering some guts to do so. I dare to talk to strangers despite whatever subject comes to mind.

Anyway, I was on my way to the trainstation where I boarded an intercity (a train that only stops in cities) and I found a seat where four people can sit. I decided to sit as close to the window as possible, although I don't know why I like that, and put my legs over eachother in crossed situation like most ladies do. On the other side of the, the opposite next to me where four other seats were positioned 2 opposed by 2, a young lady was checking her cellphone. I was hoping to get noticed by her, but for the upcoming ten minutes she was busy with her cellphone. So I took the libertie of watching out the window to admire the view. I like traveling. It calms me with peace.

Rotterdam was approaching and from the intercom a voice told us about the next stop. So I stood up to walk to the nearest exit while I was forced to let my heels click again. From that moment the lady with her cellphone noticed it and looked at me in the face. Since my scarf encovered a part of my chin, and my hair encovered the sides of my face, she couldn't really tell wether I was a man or a woman. I have my young face to thank for that, I think. But then she noticed and a shocked facemotion spread over her face. It didn't bring me to ashame, and as I turned towards the path that led to the exit doors, I started walking. Clicking sounds allowed other people to look at meh shoes as well, and another young lady noticed me as well. She also had to leave the train at Rotterdam so the two us went to the same exit were she continued to observe me. Strange enough she didn't laugh, nor was she shocked. She just turned her face away which I disliked and I wasn't hoping for.

Then I prepared for the big crowd! Rotterdam Central Station is a place where you can consider the crowd as life-stock for vampires. Everyone is just so hasty, while I took all the time in the world. So I walked with a regular speed towards the tram. Once arrived I crossed the rails gently, hoping for no stumbling, and walked toward the info sign where I could find the times of arrival. There I got noticed by a girl and I decided to stand next to her within another crowd of people waiting for there ride.

From that moment I saw her attempting to observe me for she was secretly watching my shoes hoping I wouldn't notice her doings. Hehe, they can't fool me for that! I got caught in our crossed eyesight and she was the first one turning her face away. I asked myself why people fear to talk to strangers. Why? I mean if I see something odd but cool, I would be dying to wish I ever commented the person positively. Ah well, maybe it are the fun people who are in minority. What a shame that the western part of the Netherlands is socially becoming crappy.

The tram arrived and I boarded. Within five minutes I arrived at my friends place and as I pushed the doorbell, I heard a grunting voice saying "YES! SPEAK UP!" (lol) that was Devi (pronunction: Davy) who opened the door and welcomed me with full attention. He lifted me up like I was his bride or something and he dragged me into his home where his girlfriend was waiting for my arrival as well. Then as he put me down, he noticed I got taller than him, while both of us have the same body-length. Then he looked down to my boots and his eyes grew bigger and shone of happiness, like stars. Followed up by his girlfriend who also noticed it, they both said: "AAAAH!! THAT IS SO AWESOME! YOU WEAR HIGH HEELS!! AYE WHERE DID YOU BUY THEM?" both voices twistingly yelled at me.

I didn't know what hit me, but these are very good friends of mine and there favorite hobby is to do crazy things. I really loved that warm welcome as well as I instantly felt the acception. *drools* they'd do.

Guess what drink this addict was offered? Of course the usual coffee from the menu ^^ And there I saw him! The cute little baby of theirs. He has grown a little since I last saw him. His name is Raven and I got cute pictures of him ^^ and I was forced to hug this little fellow.

    Saturday the 7th of Januare.

I hate sleeping on the couch! The pain was horrible, but after all it was I who decided to stay over hehe. Today we had to do a lot in the house and it was a total mess. So I participated in cleaning up and of course do some babysitting as well.

Also we had to fill the foodstock so Devi and I went to the nearest supermarket with also the quest to buy beer hehe. High heels were once again my shoes of the day to wear and at the shopping mall I got noticed quite a lot but yet again no one ever dared to comment me except for an old lady who called me a tall person :D

Of course I blushed a little, but hehe I still am me and I do what I like to do. It is just that I have a tough moment of dealing with positive reactions.

Anyway, the evening was approaching and we had to get ready for the cyber party so I asked Devi if he still had that black long skirt he promised me to lend. Yes! I decided to wear a long skirt ^^ it was the very first time that I wore one. Still he was doubting about wether he should wear it or I. After an hour his doubt fell and told me that the skirt didn't suit his 'Metalhead' image and he passed it to me. Sadly the skirt had broken pieces at the part where it closes the locks (forgive me for my lacks of correct explanation) and we had to use safeties pins to stick the parts.

Of course you can guess meh shoes... ^^ and the boots suited so nicely with the long skirt. Atop of the skirt I wore a black gauze shirt and my sword-amulet around the neck. Yet it was too cold to go outside with this shirt, despite the warm coat would wear, and I covered my upper body with a blouse.

Then it was make-up mirror time! Together with Ankie (Devi's gf) we both did our faces in front of the same mirror like school girls and we had so much fun. The style I chose was black eyeshadow and eyeliner but in a different way than I usually applied to my face. At the edge of my right eye, I drew a lightningbolt that looked sooo awesomely hot! And Ankie had her eyes surrounded by pink shadow that suitted the rest of her outfit (sadly no pictures yet) and she looked so awesome. Her style was cyber funky and pink with black. Her shoes were higher than mine ^^ grr I envied her, but still I was taller mwuhahaha!

Devi was different and also dressed in a unique way. Remember the disco ages in the 70's? That pants was baggy of his and his total outfit black. His shirt tight and black. He looked like an undead disco-dancer who has come back to dance along the other undead ^^ that kind of image he expressed.

So off to the cyber party (Baroeg Rotterdam)!

We had some trouble with the public transport as we discovered that the tram we usually needed wasn't coming there anymore because of the timelimit. The last one would arrive at 8:00 PM and it was like 10:30 PM so we took the bus.

As we arrived there we met Devi and Ankie's friends. These are very social and nice people. However their outfits were very limited and regular among goths. Only the three of us did our very best to look extremely good, while they did something plain and simple, but it didn't bother me.

Time for a beer! I walked toward the bar while of course I got instantly noticed by people around me and some stared at me like they saw a ghost or something while some were kind of already used to this. I ordered one beer and when I heard the price I was shocked. 2 euros (almost 2 dollars)!! Can you believe it?! Well that was my first and last beer of tonight, I said to myself.

I walked back toward the dancefloor and took a seat on the comfy couch where Ankie was waiting as well. Of course I could have offered her a drink as well, but that happened later this night. I had to spend my money slowly, and not too fast.

The girl sitting next to Ankie noticed Ankie's remarkable shoes (pic coming soon) and then Ankie was proud enough to refer to my shoes as well and I was forced to show the boots underneath the long skirt. Saphira, Ankie's friend, was sooo exciting when she saw my boots and she asked me if she was allowed to touch them ^^ Can you believe it? My boots being touched by an excited girl! Later she asked Ankie, while not daring to ask my directly, what my sexual nature was and Ankie sort of defended me by telling her that there aren't that much feministic goth boys who are hetero sexual. She replied by saying that it's awesome for me to dress the way I like and of course there were many more goth boys in long skirts and higher shoes, but mostly plateaus so I was the only boy with high heels there ^^

Again I found it a shame of Devi to see him go his way at the party as he mostly deserted his gf while I was giving Ankie most of the attention so I asked her to dance with me after she took pictures of our shoes. We got up and started to dance on Doom Metal music. It didn't really mather what kind of moves I made, and dancing on this kind of music requires no codes so I moved my arms and hands with grace. I really felt so free and it was the first time I could actually dance on high heels. I finally understand that it feels so much greater to dance in high heels than on flat shoes.

Then I got noticed by an old friend of mine. Her name is Tonny and she's 35 years old. I was glad meeting her once again, it was too long ago since I last saw her. She also brought a friend with her. We went back to the bar and there was a little open space in the corner where we could rest upon the couches. After chatting a little, I told her a little about my new outfit and she commented it positively even about my heels. These people are so openminded and understanding that I took the liberty to offer them a drink but they declined because they have plenty of money.

Later this night I met a nice young lady who goes by the name of Kaley. She tapped me on my should while I was walking toward that same couch again and I turned around to see who that was. I saw her short pink painted hair and her thin pink semi transparent shirt that overwelmed me so greatly. She said: "Hi there! May I tell you how gorgeous I find your high heels?" and I was so blushing. "Wow! Thank you" I said and we decided to expand our chitchat into a conversation so we sat there on the couch where she grabbed meh boots to observe it from a closer view. She asked me where I bought them... why do they always ask us guys where we buy our heels? ^^

She was a very spontanious lady I told her and I received the same reply. Finally, I thought, there is still life on this planet! Wow!

    to be continued...

  3. thats great!!

Maybe you can be our special ambassador to the goth/anime/roleplaying crowd. Good job!

Indeed, and not to mention that youngsters are the future...

Of course I'm a very picky person when it comes to hang around with certain kinds of people. Anyway, I will start a thread about the cyber party I went to last saturday... there you can read my wonderful experiences and adventure.

  4. Most of all, lets remember that fashion should be fun and its not really a math equation. We have enough structure and equations in our social culture already. Have fun with it...

Do I sense fire in your movement? Excellent. You are really pushing it through and I'm on your side with this ^^

Hello everyone, my name is Geoffrey (Zero) and I'd like to share my creative idea. However, my inspiration sources have their own originality and I shall do my best to alter it to my image. My inspiration main source comes from a hard rock band Motley Crue. In the 80's they ruled and it never was weird to appear on heels wether you were a male or female. Alternative lifestyle people are very openminded and don't care much about mainsteam dressing codes. Do as you please, however some opinions among them varray. Some give green light to the color pink, some despise it.

Still from this position I shall gather all ideas I can match with the dark style I follow, as most oftenly called 'goth'. Not just because most of time my clothing is black only, but also the hobbies I have that fill this style, following up by my taste of music and movies.

In my campaign to sort of invade the stream with the look I have in mind, they rather be shocked then impressed. Gathering from their responds, I can tell wether they underestimate me or despise me, and some even gather the guts to interest in me and even talk to me. Yet I am a youngster who just past the start of the 20's and thus I cannot influence the fashionworld of older people, unless I really steal the show. This means I have to contact an old buddy of mine who took photo's of me on the Fantasy Fair I visited last year. I was wearing a black soft long coat (combination of matrix and pirates) but more likely the high hat I was wearing that drew his attention. He studies the arts of photography and life style and he really was interested in my 19th centure looks. After a chat, he showed me photoes of other goth types of people and I saw a couple of cybergoths who had incredible monstrous shoes. By all means, we have our own fashion line globally and of course a goth guy wearing high heels is more oftenly accepted by his own kind, rather than mainstream people who never really were interested in dark styles themselves.

Aside all that, I got a real american looking citizen coat, long (almost reaching my ankles) and black normal looking pants. I got long hair, still not long enough and it reaches my shoulders by now. So I can also look really regular in black clothing as well. In this position I'd also be glad to wear high heels for public display. Yet all I can do is contact people and do my display on the streets and down town.

You will be hearing from me soon enough and it will get more interesting once I can share pictures of me. Also I hope I can encourage other (cyber) goth boys to wear high heels as well. Since we have our own dutch goth movement, I observe and learn from them that they are always looking for something new within their styles of clothing and lately the goth style of Lolita cuteness (a wave from Japan) infected most of the girls in this movement, but the time has arrived for the boys to do something of their own. Then let me start to set the first fire...

  5. ....and I'm glad i did it.

    HIGH HEELS FOR EVER. :D

    I most likely agree

It's liberating, isn't it? I too had difficulties to walk on them in public and being spotted by familiar people, and I have been spotted and I even got into a chat with them telling them why I wear heels. It's so fun to share your honest opinion rather than giving them a slight motion of being shy or filled with shame. Telling them it's a rush as you experience it is like overwelming them with your passion. I give these people no other option then either to accept me for what I like to do, or ceasing to hang around with me. None of them has chosen to second option. It's fun indeed ^^

  6. Hey Zero! Glad to have you at the forum. Too bad we just missed each other as I was in Amsterdam at the end of August. We could have met. Anyway, there are a few other board members from the Netherlands: Jeff (the board owner) is from Weert, Tom-NL, gj, lion, Robert who is very active is from Gouda, jbmajoor, Mike(NL) and Spike_Metal are from Rotterdam, Geoffrey, Dexter23, High Heeled Sub, and raccoon.

Amazing and thank you for telling me the names ^^

Anyway, I would like to join your quest as well, mainly doing my own quest by just walking in my high heels getting as many comments as possible. However, I have started a campaign of my own at gaiaonline.com. This is a place of youngsters into anime and roleplaying games, and most likely very open minded. To them things can't get any 'weirder' and I also started a thread called "What are you wearing today" where I mentioned that I wear heels. Of course I'm going to do a lot more than that, and also I intend to sort of invade fashion forums with our ideas. Ask me anywhere you need me to support your messages. However, I would be more effective once I have pictures of me in heels. Patience is of the essence at the moment, but I'd be glad to participate as well as I do my quest on the streets and the clubs. I'm very honored to be here ^^

  7. It's good to hear more guys their gf supports their bf wearing heels. I'm so happy for you ^^ Great adventure. Still I want to encourage my girlfriend to walk in heels as well. She's a little afraid that she might not be able to walk on them.

  8. Greetings and welcome to the boards. Somehow I can't get my eyes off of the Platforms in the jacuzzi picture in the first album number 7 of 58. And I want those leggings too :D Nice collection, not really what I would wear, but I admire them most likely ^^

  9. Thanks SQ and yes it is anime, the avatar is a rip-off from deviantart.com and my favorite character. I can't wait to share some heeling stories as well, besides I'll be trying them out tomorrow for streetwalking and this friday I will be going out to a party where more people like me wear all kinds of funky shoes :D I'm glad to have been open to the people I mostly see, cuz if not, then the would have treated me as a freak, but showing them that I have passion for heels and loving it, of course with a specifik lifestyle I chose for, I have given both my mother and gf the opportunity to accept me for what I like and what I am  But anyway, all stories will be posted soon enough ^^

  10. Deviant Art

Read the comment below the picture where it says This image raises important questions...

    This is sooo true!

Anyway, this site has somewhat 'weird' people as well and I love it. I love the search function there as well... I mean type in High Heels and see which matches you get. I tried all kinds of things for men wearing heels related and I read all the opinions as well. Most oppinions of youngsters are like "HOT" or "THAT's SOOO SEXY" when it comes to a guy wearing heels. You see we don't and never lagged behind at all. We are just outnumbered, so what!? I'm happy :D

  11. Hi bootsrkewl,

Welcome to the forum. Indeed I do remember strutting my stuff when heels for men were the norm. If only some enlightened designer would revisit those days, we would be away.

Still as long as we keep wearing heels in a sensible conservative manner, well get there.

    TB2

I indicate this message as a subject about that wanted breakthrough, is that correct? Some day it must breakthrough, right? I can read it everywhere and to be honest, I"m willing to participate in this service to let heels for men become a common fact. Heels would then not be in the ladies department anymore.... if that was only true (drools) lol

Oh and eh welcome, Bootrkewl :D

  12. I'm goth so black clothing mostly go for me and when it comes to impress, I some times wonder wether I impress or shock the people but my latest foto session really brought impression upon nearby people on the streets in The Hague (The Netherlands). My mother supported me and took pictures like 'hell' lol but I wasn't wearing any heels that period. If it comes to a wishlist of outfits I'd say wait until it has been taken and uploaded.

Anyway these are some pics of the photo sessions:

I really love that long coat but when I start wearing heels in public, I think I shall have to switch to cyber style and wear my buckled jacket ^^

Complaints on the high hat can be sent to my pm box hehe lol.

Can't wait to have my ultimate outfit with my high heeled boots done before the summersun strikes us overhead...

  13. Hello highheel lovers around the world, I thought I would share my latest adventure with you  I just purchased a new pair of shoes Dec 20th. the brand name is Naturalizer. blk, loafer with cut out on the top and sides. Even though their not highheels, their still a sexy looking shoe  Besides, I don't think I'm ready to go out in public wearing 4 or 5 inch heels just yet, and I don't beleave Joe public is ready for me at this time  Anyway I wore my new shoes to the supermarket on Dec 25th. There were a lot of shoppers in the store. I walked in like I didn't have a care in the world. Nobody stared or made a commit about my shoes. At first I was a little nervous but soon got over it :D To me this was a gaint step for man, a man wearing womens shoes that is  The end result was I'm glad I did it and feel good about myself for doing it  Have a Happy New Years Day in your heels my Friends. love t-straps

Small steps toward our goals. Take large ones to be an extreme overconfident man that has a greater chance to fall sooner or later. I think you are doing great, but what you need is a buddy or girlfriend walking next to you in heels. I too need that as well, but hehe meh circle of friends are crazy enough to encourage me.

But keep in mind that small steps in the history of mankind has brought us to true success! Those who go too fast shall fall after all.

    Keep it up!

  14. I bet in a real world discussion with her, she'd be open to a man in heels. She lives in queens, so she's close by.

Just an odd question but would she have influence on the fashion world or on the forum if she chooses to side with men wearing heels? I mean, as far as I'm concerned for what I've read so far, she seems to have a breaking word that if listened to, a lot of ears would catch her opinion.

As for my opinion, aside the fact that I wear heels mehself, I mean this world has good things and bad things. Good things such as the images created in the 60's, 70's and 80's. Despite the fact that not everyone accepts our fascion ideas, there is pretty much a high score overated and exceeds the 50% of positive responds from people who are into fashion and people who are into that have influence. All we need for a breakthrough is media attention...

  15. Do you have any pictures?

Indeed I was wondering about the same... I mean I also have a nailfetish mehself and wonder how your nails looked like as well as your heels of course... I mean after so many reactions in positive way, couriosity is mindbugging me.

  16. I can live with the fact that a guy in heels is not generally accepted, although I wonder how many people would laugh at me but at the same time be very jealous...

...To be honest, if I didn't have this urge to wear heels myself I would consider it strange too for guys. I think I would accept it though but that's easy to say if you're a pervert like me... ':D'

Pervert? Depends on what you define with that word :D

Of course we all wish to be accepted, rather than tolerated, but I think it is the attitude and outfit you wear that determines the rate of the influence. As for a goth person, it is much easier to blend with the same kind of people who can't get any freakier than already has proven... but for regular styles of clothing wether you are a male or female, high heels definitely say that have an extreme or wild side in your life and wearing them in public challenges not only you but also the rare admirer to find a sexy "pervert" (lol) such as us

However, it is that slice of shame that constantly forces us to retreat into our territories where we can wear heels any time we want without being mocked for... I think it is rather selfish not to share this 'higher' passion and to be correct.... aren't it the women who find the heels more attractive to a guys feet, than other regular males? I mean I've had several reactions and 60% contained the word SO SEXY ^^ lol

Nah, if it is shame you carry, than shame it shall show in your walking attitude as well. I tried to combine the attitude with a little elegance and pride and some times arrogance if needed.

Anyway I can't wait to hear some more. Good luck to ya

  17. Hello, Zero. Welcome to the Forum. It sounds like there may be more interesting stories from you in the near future.

    Cheers---

    Dawn HH

Never looked it that way, but indeed I can't wait to share some thoughts, yet not adventures but those are to come and if possible I will send some pics as well.

  18. I've been visiting this website for quite a while and for some time I've been reading threads here. Oh! hehe where are my manners...

Indeed. My name is Geoffrey, but I prefered to be mentioned by my nickname. Geoffrey sounds weird to me, but if you prefer calling me by that name, feel free to do so.

Anyway, I am a male of the age of 22 and I've been wearing heels since I was 14... but that was just a 'silly' attempt of mine. I was raised with they idea that heels are for ladies only... however, a strong rebelious feeling kept telling me otherwise untill the day I decided to buy them myself. When I was 18 I bought my first pair of ankle boots (sorry no pic) with 3 and a half inch block heel... color = black. However, I lacked the courage to tell my mother, while stangly I dared to directly walk on them outside with a normal outfit of an 18 year old student... (no pic again) but... secrets hidden for mothers never last than a week or perhaps two depending on its content. Mine was forced to reveal so I openly told my mom about meh strange feelings that I have for heels and even for wearing nailpolish. My mother wasn't just shocked by her discovery but more by the fact that I behaved with secrecy.

Now today, four years after I blushed by that event, I decided to buy some exteme shoes again... as for a guy these are called extreme here and mostly Amsterdam would allow me to be more tolerated, not the city of The Hague.

Anyway, it is not that I am dying to get a warm welcome, but I would be honored ^^

Oh and I don't know if I am allowed to post a link to a journal of mine on a site but there you can see how my heels look like at the moment and it's the third image http://www.gaiaonline.com/journal/index.php?mode=view&u=2804769

Edit: I don't think I'll be posting anymore this day, but I hope to be of service some other time.

Oh and I forgot to mention, I got a girlfriend and a mother who support me in wearing high heels... I mean to say that I got them both on my side and not as enemies ^^ lol
