  1. Amazing!! I see the tail of pages making a count of 2!!! Thanks guys! Oh well, on too the subject. Last friday I just gathered all I needed to force myself into public view with of course the boots you can all see in my last posted pictures. I could choose between flats and heels. And when I placed them before me, you can picture the situation already. Temptation and salvation. I picked that second word because flats are a salvation in some cases. But I found them too boring for me to present myself again with yesterday's outfit so I just took a gamble of go for it. Well, the point is that all my expectations were formed by an uncertaintity within emotions. I just didn't know if it would be a failure of a day, or just one to applaude myself for. But I didn't get much replies except for some one who's childish enough (at work) to mock me once in a while but the guy just doesn't know any better. His behaviour is already unwanted by others, but appearantly I'm the only one laughing about it. However, I went to work last friday and proudly walked on high heels. Some women caught a glimpse of it but as I said in the topic about Kneehigh's adventures, no one really has the nerve to talk to you about it. Strangers are just afraid to start a conversation. Well, the only way to change that is when I take initiative. It might work if the very first thing that I care to say does not necessarily build up my way to cover the subject about footwear, although it does work with women. Somehow it are the women we want to present us too. Since they understand the footwear better than most men, why not make some remarks about their footwear? Well, gladly I found a way of doing that. It would be odd just saying something nice about HER shoes without any asuming reason. It might create confusion and is oftenly noticable in their facial expression. But my excuse was the change of weather. It suddenly turned soooo cold here in Holland that when I spot a lady wearing pumps or anything shoes that uncover a part of bare feet, I can instantly find the one reason to ask her the next: "Isn't it cold when you walk on those shoes outside?" Instead of just hoping for conversation you really want, it is to accept that the obvious answers are always the same: NO, I wear panty-hose. Do'h!! Of course they do! But that isn't my aim. Most of them look down and lift up one of their elegant legs that uncovers the rest of the shoe. It may seem like a fetishfull moment, but the true aim is that they look at my shoes too. Well that is my game here. The same thing goes for nailpolish too. Well that one is far away in history much more accepted than high heels for men. Most compliments are just made when they see the works of profession in nailart. They never talk about your choice of color, and they never ask you more unless they never had a lesson in alternative lifestyle. But the point is that I have worn high heels at work and without problems. I'll just keep mixing styles and to answer some of the people's questions here: I work for a cable company at the Technical Support helpdesk. It's office work so you can guess where I want to go with my fashion... hehehe

  2. We sat down near a group of 4 girls and Pam yet again wanted to play his, "we are doing research for a fashion magazine" when suddenly one girl at the head of the table happened to glance down at the ground a catch a good look of my stiletto pumps. Within a second she was covering her mouth with her hand and sneaking some kind of conversation with her friends in...making sidelong glances our way. With a few more minutes, the 4 girls got up to leave. But before they left they all went to the bathroom, stayed in line for about 1 minute (long enough to get a good view of my stiletto pumps).

From what I gather, or I prefer saying what I can guess is that situations like these can cause an uncomfortable feeling. That also depends on how well your own mood is during the day. But what I did gather from your essay was that you proudly shown your footwear, despite the type of folk that surrounds your stay. I can't quite understand the selection of the girls' opinions and how they'd feel when spotting a rare sight like us. In moments like this, I would dyingly wish they had 'balls' to walk up to us and impulsively start a conversation about our heels.

I constantly see it happen. When traveling by train, or just walking on the sidewalks. I get spotted and it are the youngsters (girls most likely) that start whispering to eachother about my footwear. Rather than collecting the nerve to start a chat with me, they just go like "Oh look at that!!".

But I have compensating moments too. There are people with guts. One guy just stated out "RESPECT!!" One single word for one pleasant compliment.

I just don't know if cultural opinions are ripe for globalization. The only key it needs is the canceling of silence between the people. Trains used to be very noise, if not by the sound of the running engine, the least it would come from the people within.

Aside all that, I just know that we can't give up doing what we like most. Coming this far, and entering new ages every season, gives me enough courage to show the world something new. Keep it up, I tell ya!

  3. A while ago I promised you to post my red pumps pics. Well here they are. Sadly without a face, legs only.

I'm still struggling with any outfits that might match the shoe style but I think I'll manage if I stick with the goth scene. Perhaps some crimson trousers with a black blouse or a shirt.

    So I'll keep you posted.

  4. Wow, great look! Have you worn that outfit in public yet? and if you have, what adventures can you tell us about?

yes, I have displayed it outside. Had to. I didn't have other shoes with me when I visited my mother. Well, the adventures are not really concidered adventures unless going to Amsterdam or a different country. I have had most impressive positive comments from friends who follow an unusual classy style as well as I. I am constantly being encouraged to keep walking on my favorite shoes.

  5. Yes well I got these from Silhouette store in Rotterdam, not far from the central station if you choose to walk. Or just visit http://www.silhouette.nl/html/nederlands/index.htm

They costed me 50 Euro and bought them with a friend of mine. She loved seeing me walking on them and she doesn't mind a guy in heels. Though her parents do sadly.

But I haven't yet tried them on in public. Though the urge keeps pushing me to do so... it is just the cold season of the year that keeps me from doing it. Instead I just walk on high heel boots. Oh I forgot to mention the height. Well they are 11 cm high and I can walk on them better than my 9 cm boots with block heel. This is because of the foot support coming from below, which is extra important to me.

Anyway I love all your responds and I keep you people posted. Keep track on me because I will be using this thread for updates.

  6. Okay so I have been away for a while. No problem. It doesn't mean I have given up the fashionable hobby of hh wearing ^^

I have not much time to chat so I display the pictures below now:

    These are my newest additions

They may not be thigh boots from the front but from the back ... my goodness.

I'm sure there not available in a 14 so it may be time to get out the sewing machine.

    Shafted -

For me it was getting worst than knowing when not to wear thigh boots, it was becomming a bit of an obsession, same thing with posting. It was time to stop and step back for a while.

Tis indeed incredible sight and perspective. I have taken a closer glimpse upon the site of this collection of wonderful boots. Call it a hint of wantonness haha. At least that is what I see to it ^^

  8. let's have the pictures of the shoes...:wink:

Personally I would wear them only if my girfriend has the same pair as well. However, I find these beauties more suitable with a long flexible skirt. I think the ladies adore these shoes more then men would. Still nice to have them in your collection.

  9. Hey Zero!

Glad to see that you are still around. I hope you can make it up from The Hague to Amsterdam. Last I heard, the train ride was only 8 euros and the ride was about 45 minutes. I would love to meet you in Amsterdam!

As far as your budding writing skills, there is no doubt room for that here! Thats what we do. I was thinking about writing a letter to the editor at the Village Voice about my experience at Penn Station with the girl who was laughing loudly. While I don't mind being noticed, or photographed, I do mind when people find a man in heels soo amusing, that they react rudely like she did.

With your enthusiasm, I'm sure you could up with many interesting ways to express your interest through your writing

To experience full flavour on heels, I blend with certain people who have a touchy way of influence within their daily surroundings. I chat with those who fancy, I discuss with those who argue, and I guide those toward correct perspectives who have questions. The offensive minds are to ignore, as I continue to walk forward onto the path of glamorous movement. I like the sight and sound of my new boots, in which I soon collect sharable photoes of, and I have captured a lot of female fancy during all times I put my public display. Of course the hint of whispering remains unchecked and inconsolable at times, but I never make it worse. I manage to remove the festering pustules on the face of art and fashion, to as you all do too, restore the free minds we had plenty in the 60's, 70's and 80's.

As you clearly notice, wide eyes allow us to gain images of returning fashions, such as vintage, and even the Marylin Monroe sway. With that, I combine my aristocratic and dark French appearances into a new image in the hopes to start a new collection.

About the Village Voice, do you have a link directing toward an online display, dear Kneehigh?

Also, if you desire me to be at disposal of writing articles are other content regarding our taste for footwear, simply send me a homing pidgeon to my email which is zero@empyrrian.com (if not found in my profile that is).

I do have to check, by the way, if possibilities serve me an open slot on the Saturday Amsterdam Meeting. Otherwise I have to make a sacrificial selection of what content should fill my day then.

    Nevertheless,

It is good to be back again.

  10. Hello Kneehigh. I"m glad to be in return. Hopefully I can keep track with the activity this time and perhaps if fortune choses me, I can join the Amsterdam meeting. Just thought that this thread would be the best to traffic constant updates. I hope to be of service to increase male popularity on high heels. I find these styles so adorable as elegant that I feel to take up the quill and write articles about it. Yes yes they spoil me pink, and I have turned into a writer. All I need is to learn a way to inject my proses unfiltered into the minds of the dear reader. With this talent, I may be able to serve HH Place.org. What do you think?

  11. Newfie:-)

Those 4" stiletto heels look great on you. You wear them well. They look so comfy, and I like the striped pants as a contrast. I would go with an all black outfit also. Wear them out in public and don't forget some pics to go with everything.

    Zero:-)

HEY!!! Welcome back, friend. Tell us and show us what you have been up to lately.

    Cheers---

    Dawn HH

Well I have made progress. First of all I am skippng three years of my educational career. As I switch from web developer to Video Game Programmer, I may welcome myself in College next year. It's a bachelor's course and international where they force me to speak English. Not a problem at all, since the style of speaking is what I copy from Marquis de Sade my favority writer, don't ask.

As for love in life, a girlfriend added me into her life. *blushing* and this lovely lady adores my style and taste for both black clothing and high heel wear. Together we shall walk the earth on heels with joy and victory, haha just being carried away. She really loves the pumps but is afraid of not being able of walking on them. So I'll teach her ^^ lol

Still I do not posses that special outfit that I constantly dream of, that go nicely with heels, but I'll keep you ladies and gentlemen posted about my additions and experiences.

It is good to back, though.

  12. Tribute to Zero Our member Zero from Amsterdam hasn't been active in awhile. I thought he did such a wonderful job of tastefully expressing his freestyle fashion preferences. So, before his pics became a part of the vast archive oblivion, I thought I'd "bring them back to life."

Haha this is truly funny. Though I have to make one correction for everyone's information here: I live in The Hague, which is upmost an hour of traveling from Amsterdam by train. Hehe I never expected to become part of any archive, fortunately for all of you I add improvement to it as well.

New purchasement: Black Pumps (sorry for the lack of images to show)

New style questing: Visual Kei and Jrock, also I'm greatly being inspired by New York Dolls and other glamrock bands.

Anyway, thank you for bringing me back, Kneehighs

  13. haven't lost any friends. I can only make new friends and I mostly use my filter system to get new friends who are open minded. Those who chose to depart me, are simply not worth my time. A little crazyness has filled my spirit with joy, and sharing that is like being an example to those who wish to do the same in their way: love the old hippie days :D Though my mother won't side with me when going onto the streets with her me wearing my heels. On accident moments in the first days of wearing heels openly in public I did, and she simply explained to me that she doesn't wan't to get noticed by familiar people. After arguing a little with her I threw my biggest mind breaking question: Who should feel more ashamed? Me or you? and... this question was a tricky one since I didn't intend to force her to answer this multiple question by its rules... and she didn't. She said, neither of us should be ashamed for the things we love to do as long as it doesn't harm others and yourself. She was absolutely correct and I rewarded her with a hug and promised her out of respect to not wear heels in public when she's near. Since that is only a family matter, friends are always different from family... still my 'half-bloodlined' aunt fully supports me for doing the weirdest hippie things, even if it includes female expression (no intensions to be one fully, no proxy breasts for me!) so I'll go explain her about Visual Kei (Japanese j-rock style) next time I see her. Friends come and go, as I accepted that remark from a great philosopher, but always wear sunscreen! hehe but still there is one friend of mine who's walking around with the idea that female expressions among men is just an excluded issue meant for actors only. However, by carefully explaining my drive to him, I might manage to keep him within the circle of friends. Still I can never prove to him the weirdest thing on earth since his (Nick is his name) mind is full of lunatic ideas and a pile of chaotic experiences that made him as he is today. To manage the maintainance of our friendship, I simply have to invite him over to my place so he can discover the black pumps that I also put on the desk's special place as decoration. If he asks what my obsession with those are, I'd simply say that it's cultural. Aside all that I'll just see what happens.

  14. Not to be rushy but I have been talking about my dream shoes and hehehehehe I finally got the pumps and the are just like the ones the topic author posted but without the anklestraps. I also tried them out in public alread, having no fear at all, but just a little uncertain feeling which prolly occured by the balance I was trying to uphold ^^ still I can walk perfectly onto them except when the terrain I walk upon isn't straight for me shoes... Anyway, I like the fact that you also feel happy with the shoes... hope you get them soon! Keep it up!

  15. A great read, Zero! I'm glad you found my experiences encouraging. That is after all why I share them.

Well just recieved a new pair of boots from Zappos. a pair of Pleaser Legend-8890's.

Wore them out to the theatre last night, and worked in concession. A woman I know from my day job was there, but didn't see my boots. Today when I saw her she asked me what I was wearing for boots last night, because one of the women she was with told her, "Did you see his boots? they were so cool." And of course I described the boots for her.

This may be a short spam post as some may consider it, but do you mind if I drool for a while.... I wonder if I ever get boots like these for a not so expensive price.... I think I need a job aside my college.

  16. Yesh and thank you all for the responds... that I actually didn't expected to reach this quantity of posts. lol Anyway I am going to ascend in my choices and selections as finally received a good outfit that surely matches the upper body with the black pants. This will be a business looking jacket (or what ever you call that thing) perhaps with an addition of a tie (hope I spelled that correctly) my hair in the style of Mana, a pic I posted on General Fashion board here if you are interested in the looks and.... I am a guy who adds a make-up finish to the face. But to be more specific, my preference goes to a femenistic look, but also dark. This theme is what I call "Genderless Expression" and I would like to be model for a friend of mine using this theme. I recently bought dark red lipstick and tried it out,..... wow I was impressed and I wondered why I didn't tried that one before! hehe and eh I now have five ladies sided with me for a day of shopping in Amsterdam.... oh hehe make that six :D Anyway, my point is is that I am making progress for my own, while also putting the images for males to encourage them the wear diffent non-boring shoes that we addicts call high heels constantly... lol I am very glad to share this on the internet with you... it feels like I am coming home from work to tell you all how it was outside today ^^ and I'm grateful. Just to let you know.
