Thank you crossfire238. Where about in Maine are you located? Please feel free to PM me if you want to keep it off a publicly viewable area.

Yes I did in fact see them. I haven't been keeping up on my astronomy lately but the two bright ones close together in the east caught my eye last night.

I still marvel at the Milky Way stretching across the sky with it's countless bejeweled points of light and hidden treasures just waiting to be found by anyone with binoculars or a telescope. There is something special about seeing celestials objects with your own eyes that creates an intimacy with the universe that's quite humbling.

We still have dark skies in Maine If you get away from the major towns and cities. Lot's of places where there is nothing. Time has also been theorized as a forth physical dimension, if so from our perception an infinte amount of ourselves could exist even in the same space, separated by time.

I've been around these parts for a while now, and I see the changes going on around me, not only are things changing, but they are accelerating. It largely depends on us and more and more of us are wearing our heels out in public than ever before. People are seeing it, talking about it or just hearing about it.

Well that's how the visitor message system is, visible to everyone. I must say both you and Rei are giving it a good workout.

You're right I don't care for platforms. I like them even less when they dominate the market like they are now. It's makes it really difficult to find something I like. When you've been trained to walk on a single sole stiletto a platform is literally a pain in the foot for me. If you want to wear plats that's okay. I would recommend however no more then a 4 inch rise between ball and heel of the foot for your initial forays outside. Trust me you are going want to be comfortable in them for the long haul, so don't overdo the height at first.

Composer, he writes music for planetarium shows. Very dreamy ethereal music, perfect for stargazing.

Oh don't worry about. It's probably just as well. I don't need to be spending the money at this point in time and my current collection can go me quite awhile. The problem with changing the system from heel height to instep angle, is all of us that have learned our comfortable heel height would have to change plus instep angle could be different for two people with the same shoe size due to difference in arch height.
