admirer5577 Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Planning a visit to Paris soon - any tips? where is the best place to shop? how accepting are the French of men in heels? What are you looking for? Women sizes or bigger sizes? I wore 4" heeled pointy boots last year, also when visiting shoe shops and trying on shoes/boots, and had no problems. They are like people in general except we don't understand them. *s* Love Paris myself and envy you going there. Have a nice stay there.
Smudgeur Posted December 9, 2007 Author Posted December 9, 2007 I'm a size 42 so sometimes mainstream shops will cater for me. Did you find any good shops?
admirer5577 Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 Eu sz 42 could easily mean French 43, look out for that. The only shop I remember out of my head is www.sacapuce.fr where I have bought a pair of boots exactly one year ago actually. They aren't that helpful in the shop but as long as they bring you what you ask them to it is ok I think. Google this "chaussure grande taille paris" and you'll get about 1 million hits. It mean "shoes big size paris" and you will get some hits for shops in Paris. I have the name of another one but it is on the tip of my toungue but...... no, can't remember its name rigth now. Their logo is white background with red text if that helps *s*
HeelD Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Bata and Eram are good places to try for shoes in size 42 IIRC. There should be several branches across Paris. Heel-D - Freestyling since 2005
