stellah Posted September 5, 2002 Posted September 5, 2002 There is a french television fashion channel called "FTV". I watch it sometimes, because it shows some nice shoes worn by models... There ares sometimes really fantastic boots and shoes. It's just too bad it mostly shows the upper part of the models - up to the knee - and ignores the lower part. You only see them as a glimpse when they are walking away (back). I just wish they would direct the camera a little lower their website: www.ftv.com _______________ HH forever!
Dexter23 Posted September 5, 2002 Posted September 5, 2002 Sometimes when I am at my sister’s place I watch it too, and indeed maybe they don’t think shoes are a fashion thing or something…
Firefox Posted September 7, 2002 Posted September 7, 2002 That's quite a common attitude in films/TV, but I'm suprised at a fashion programme doing that. It's The total look is very impotant, and all catwalk shots will show the full figure unless they have been edited.
stellah Posted September 9, 2002 Author Posted September 9, 2002 Yes, indeed... the teevision should show the heels as well, not ignore them. Like the shoes weren't a part of clothing and fashion It's about the same with music videos... Britney Spears, Christina Aquilera, R & B singers... many of them wear really beautiful shoes and boots in the videos, but are very shortly and rarely displayed. _______________ HH forever!
