Fogane
Teri's Booted Up Blog gives the story. The owner Tony died in June and the family don't want to carry on the business which had been having financial difficulties in the last year. It's a shame, their shoes and boots used to be very good. My avatar shoes are Hot Peppers.
Waisted_Giraffe
Very sad indeed, I would suggest that Hot Peppers Ballets were the best available. Lets hope that the expertise is not completely lost and that the designs may be resurected by another cobbler. I now wish I hadn't got rid of the Hot Pepper ankle boots I had. kellysue
With the exception of Little Shoe Box, those were the best ballet boots around. Now it seems that all that is left are the cheap Chinese versions like Pleaser that do not have a stable ballet heel. Very sad.
