balletboy Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 Can people recommend any good places (or bad places to avoid !) to buy ballet heels. I'm looking to take a "step up" in my heel wearing. The places I've found are: www.alternative-footwear.co.uk www.punitiveshoes.com/index_en.shtml Any suggestions ? BTW - I'm in the UK. Thanks.
Fogane Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 BananaShoes who sell the Pleaser/Devious range. Never purchased from them but they seem to have an ok reputation. Divine (the Kinky Boot factory), they sell the Qualifetish range, more expensive but top quality.
Waisted_Giraffe Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Ballet Boy I'd go with anyone that supplies the Qualifetish / (Hot Peppers is the trade sales name) range, personnaly found them to be of the best quality and the most "comfortable" My feet are neither to wide or too narrow and found the toe boxes are the tightest of those you can buy (therefore providing more support, taking the weight off the ends of your toes). As you are in the UK, as Fogane suggested, Divine were the cheapest when I bought mine (couple of years ago). Suggest you dig out the name of the shoe you want and do a seach of that name and see what comes up. At least if you deal with Divine, they will refund the cost of the shoe if you're not satisfied and return to them. Big D
