dr1819 Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 It's an LL Bean design, but I managed to find one with a right-hand button and zipper (like men are used to wearing). Plus, it's 37" in length (although 40" would have been better). I wore it for my daily walk, today, talking to various neighbors as I've done before. Many wondered about my skirt (worn without heels), but I simply told them, "it's a long Irish kilt," at which they nodded their heads in seeming understanding and said, "aahhh...." At that point, we proceeded to talk about other things, and time went on. All in all, I stopped by no less than six of the neighbor's houses within 400 meters and talked to all of them at length without issues, skirt, sneakers, and all.
Dawn HH Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Dr1819:-) I wonder what the reactions might be with the same set of neighbors if you included wearing heels with that skirt. Just a thought. Cheers--- Dawn HH High Heeled Boots Forever!
