Knee high boots

I want to wear KH boots in public ( probably under jeans), but my partner is against the idea. she tolerates 1 inch block heel under jeans. Any ideas on how I can bring here around for me to wear something higher would be appreciated. Any ideas of style/heel size and type would be great. Point me in the right direction with personal websites or commercial pages. Thanks to knee high who pointed me to this forum
