Devious ballet Boots 1020 mods

super excited just ordered my first pair of ballet heels.  

I remember reading somewhere on here how people needed to shorten the heel on the devious/pleaser ballet heels.  Can any one direct me to a guide for that?  I was curious how much to shorten them.

I had to remove about 3/4" inch from my pair to get the heel up straight and then also allow for abit of crush in the toe box, it is easily done at home.
