Grand
Once again, a great show of stilettos at the Grammys! It was a delightful surprise to see Prince... in heels. Boy, he sure knows how to dance with high-heels! He was wearing a purple suit with purple boots, parly hiding under a flared pair of pants. Prince rocks! Dr. Shoe
yes we saw some of his boots at Leatherworks (where they're made) and we were shown how the heels are specially reinforced to allow THOSE moves! jbmajoor
Nice For heel-wearing folks, Prince is an old-skool icon about wearing high heels. See the albumcovers and videos from him, i.e. 80s work Woman Boots, queen of the shoes

Dr. Shoe
There were a lot of people wearinmg them at the time, it was all part of that Glam-Rock look. Prince's heels are different, the perceived idea is that he wears them because he's so short. If several different male celebrities were to wear them then they might catch on. David Beckham where are you? Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
jbmajoor
Yes, Prince was only 1m60 long. But in the past, there were more male popstars wearing heels or even platforms: David Bowie, Elton John, Kiss, etc. Especialy during the 70s. Unfortunality, in the 80s male heel wearing disappeared totally :x Woman Boots, queen of the shoes
