I thought 'Kneehigh's' idea was good but after looking at the forum it was the wrong group.

OK, I started something go over to Discovery's, 'The Learning Channel', 'What Not to Wear'

I posted in their "show feedback' section the following question.

http://discovery.infopop.net/1/OpenTopic?a=frm&s=6941912904&f=1321920016

I did not mention anything about High Heels as that's not my big thing. It would be nice to see some one from this group to drop in and leave a post also.

Male closets

I have only watched the show a few times and noticed one thing.

When a woman goes thru and gets a makeover and a new closet, you can see a change from very nice to stunning.

When you do men I have a hard time to see 'any' change. They look the same coming out as going in.

One of the items you seem not to be considering at all are, what about kilts and skirts for men as an additional wardrobe item?

I mean from what I have seen those guys go from old comfortable boring, to new uncomfortable boring.

If to you added a few Utilikilt's you would add a whole new line of interest. This would mean casual, semiformal, leg ware, shoes etc. (and yes I know a kilt is a skirt, but not all skirts can be kilts.)

After the guy gets comfortable wearing a kilt the occasion will arise when a long skirt would be more appropriate that opens another option and how to dress (skirt) a man to look good and not bad drag.

You will find many happy victims at the following web sites:

http://www.tomscafe.org/forums/

http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/utilikilt/messages/

http://utilikilts.com/

I regularly wear both Utilikilts and long skirts and have manage my share positive comments.

You will need to join to be able to post. I thought it would be interesting to see the responce. And there is the possibility of some getting a $5000 kilted wardrobe.

Mens clothes are basically boring. My wife bought me some pants recently, she described them as a 'nice gray' color. My mind flashed to the more colorfull women's clothing with their vast array of colors, as well as 'nice gray'. Black works. I'm boxed! :D

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, I'm from the Earth. Now wearing HH Penny Loafers full time.

Why stop at kilts? Why not a plain old skirt? I wear full-length skirts at home. Why? They're extremely comfortable. Only problem I have in them is I have to lift it at the knees when I'm walking upstairs! Other than that, they're very nice. But wearing one in public is a different matter altogether. Forget the fact that men wore everything from mini-skirts (Greek and Roman soldiers) to full-length skirts and dresses throughout all ages of history (including Christ). Just not done, today. I hope that changes...!
