I have always loved all leather heels and most of my collection now have leather uppers, lining and soles. Unfortunately I don’t have the budget to buy designer labels but there are still a few shoemakers around providing quality made shoes at a reasonable price but few and far between. From a fashion viewpoint I’m a firm believer that if you feel good wearing heels you look good and for me there is no feeling comparable to wearing all leather shoes and boots. It’s a subject I’ve mentioned before but seems rarely discussed in the forums. I don’t wear heels outdoors so the leather soles don’t present a problem. BobHH Posted March 16, 2013 Share Posted March 16, 2013 I agree, at least as far as leather uppers are concerned. There is no comparison, really, with man-made materials. Leather is smoother, adapts to the foot over time, and is really more comfortable. Unfortunately, there are few good leather shoes in large sizes, like 13 for me.
