Hi all, can anyone recommend a good shop in Berlin? Looking for high heel boots - not the standard pleaser kind of stuff... Thanks & happy new year to all!

I see it's already a long time you posted your question, but I will post an answer anyhow.

Check out Fernando Berlin ( www.fernandoberlinboots.com ).

They do not have a regular store I believe, but they do have an office over there and it is possible to make an appointment for fitting boots.

I have a pair of Fernandoberlin boots (ordered via the internet) and the quality is very good. Almost comparable to Jean Gaborit I guess, but a lot less expensive. The main difference I think is that Jean Gaborit makes boots with leather lining, while my Fernando Berlin boots are single layer. But since the leather is thicker, the quality is comparable.
