Heelfan Posted October 26, 2003 Share Posted October 26, 2003 On the way back from Shanghai last week, on Virgin Airways excellent back-of-the-seat-in-front movie screen, I watched "Legally Blonde II". I won't even bother to describe the inane plot, but a "Must" for heel-lovers when I say that Jimmy Choo made 63 varyious pairs of shoes (all high stilettos) for blonde star Reese Witherspoon's various scenes. Playing a bimbo (albeit a lawyer bimbo and not a dumb bimbo), she dutifully minces, teeters and cavorts around in all these heels throughout the film, plus making frequent references to her heel collection, her "most comfortable heels" and even her (gay) dog's liking for high heels! According to the write-up, upon completing her role, Reese Witherspoon asked the movie company if she could keep Jimmy Choo's 63 pairs of shoes, every last pair! Obviously an up-and-coming high heel paragon! In addition to making a point of seeing this movie, watch out for Reese Witherspoon in future! Cheerfully yours, Heelfan Onwards and upwards!
