Guest Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 I picked up a copy of Thin Lizzy's Live and Dangerous concert DVD, filmed at the Rainbow London in 1978. Whilst Phil Lynott is in his normal converse style boots Scott Gorman and Brian Robertson are very comfy in 2" heels on stage A youtube link, shows the song Emerald from the concert, I not sure if the quality is clear enough? Mid seventies I saw Lizzy three times at the Winning Post near Twickenham always gave a far superior show for their smaller venues, after Hammersmith sadly I feel they lost the strength of the smaller locations. Thought I'd like to share Al
pussyinboots Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 I was a Thin Lizzy 'groupie' for a few years.........backstage passes, tour bus, US flights, band hotels.....the works. "Good Girls keep diaries....Bad Girls just don't have the time...!:icon_twisted:"
swollen Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 Yes, PussyinBoots, I have to confess I've rocked-out to 'The Boys Are Back In Town' and 'Whiskey In The Jar' more times than is really good for me... A few tugs on some Jack Daniels goes a long way... S. "The true man wants two things: danger and play. For that reason he wants woman, as the most dangerous plaything." Nietzsche.
