Take a risk with the Designer Bug?

Theres three pairs of heels i have always put at the top of my dream list:

Black Patent: Louboutin Pigalles

Louboutin Altis

YSL Tribtoos

Unfortunately i come out as an eu42/uk8 or 9. I managed to get the Pigalles and they bring a smile to my face everytime i wear them (theyre still on ebay too as eu 42 us 12). Now ive come across the Tribtoos but theyre not black patent and i have no idea about sizing.

Is there anyone out there spent this much money on shoes that arent perfectly what they wanted? Do they regret buying them? I have bought Aldo Laich slingbacks before in store in gold when i really wanted black, then saw them a week later on the website in black and bought them too!

Even any advice on sizing is appreciated as it will help save time if i dont have to send them back etc.

If there is any chance you can go to the store and try on the Tribute Too before you buy, that would be the best and much more enjoyable. Such an expensive purchase is worth your personal sampling. So, take the risk and visit with the sales people who can be so helpful when going to find out the size that fits. A while back, I was interested in buying Christian Louboutin's "Feticha" and "Lady Page" and didn't have any idea what size I needed. So I went to the closest store that sells Louboutins and enjoyed a banquet of heels. They didn't have the exact styles I wanted, but I could try on those that were of the same cut by Louboutin. This gave me fairly accurate sizing information. Then I went back home and got on line. Mission accomplished.
