goldwings
So I made the not so smart decision of getting pizza as my dinner to go tonight while I was wearing one of my pairs of black leather boots. Since I found out that a drop of oil from the pizza had dropped to the ankle area of the boot - however, I wiped off the stain with a piece of paper towel. The stain is no longer there, but should I be concerned, since it was a small drop of oil and it didn't set (it was about max 15 minutes after the pizza stain happened). Fortunately, it was on black leather rather than some other color (eg, white) leather. That said, what other types of stains have you run into wearing your leather boots (or other heels)? Dr. Shoe
Oil stains are hard to deal with when they happen but keep your boots polished with a good polish such as Kiwi and you'll be fine as the layer of wax will protect them. You can get Kiwi in all the colours and also in clear so suitable for white boots. Graduate footwear designer able to advise and assist on modification and shoe making projects.
