Sometimes you might actually recognise the design itself, for example you may have looked at a apir of laboutine boots and these are identical. Other times you may see a pair of boots you saw in a shop and therefore you will know who made them and how much they cost. The other way is to look at the fit, quality of the leather and the build quality. Cheap boots look cheap.
