jwhite44 Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 I bought these shoes recently. I love the heel on them, but I'm not a fan of the almost patent-leather appearance. Is there something I can do to dull the shine? If it isn't obvious from the picture, the shoes have a snakeskin texture. I'm not sure if that would complicate any process.
hoverfly Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Flat black shoe polish? That should work. Hello, my name is Hoverfly. I’m a high heel addict…. Weeeeeeeeeee! 👠1998 to 2022!
wongetje Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 usually it'she shinyness that makes it a nice pairs of shoes. Ifi it's almost patenlike then it's a nice shine. too bad you wanna get rid of that. but it's up to you. erm, where's the pic?
jwhite44 Posted October 16, 2008 Author Posted October 16, 2008 You'll need to look for is in the first post in http://www.hhplace.org/discuss/everybody/12022-thoughts_male_shoes_heels.html , apparently I can't upload the same picture to different threads. Black.jpeg is what I got. Brown.jpeg is what I really wanted, but I think that might be just a poor picture. I originally thought black shoepolish (unbuffed I assume?), but I was wondering if that wouldn't mark the bottom of any pants that came in contact with the shoes.
