  1. The have 27 cm heels and 11 cv platforms. It is hard no walkbut very intresting.

I meant the gorgeous heels posted 2nd january, they are not 27cm, more like 20 with 5cm platform? but equally arched about an awesome 15-16cm then? Also not very easy to walk in?

I like platforms if the platforms itself is not exceeding 5cm/2", also many designerheels I really love but only if the heel-platform difference stays over at least 4.5"/11.5cm or better even over 5".... The Louboutins dafodile for example have a very sexy 6"(155mm) height but the 2"(6cm) platform is just a little too big I think in proportion platform, so comparable with less than 4"(10cm)?

  2. I love these extreme platforms! Really great! How high are these in cm (heel and platform)? Comparable with a 15cm/6" heel? How is walking in them? Would they still 'walkable' to go out on for you or for a woman with moderate 'heel-experience'?

  3. Although I'm not a great fan of wedges as a stiletto-lover, I like the very high wedge styles like these for example:

    http://shoerazzi.com/kim-kardashian-in-giuseppe-zanotti-4/

    http://shoerazzi.com/rachel-zoe-in-casadei-2/

They are still pretty high for most women I guess, despite the better stability compared with a very thin stiletto heel of the same height..

But somehow the thin heels are more sexy and elegant to me..

    http://shoerazzi.com/jimmy-choo-kerfield-bootie/

One the highest styles at the moment? 6" heel with a 1" platform... Most other over 5"+ shoes have platforms of at least 1.5" and are effectively often 'just' about 4"... So I like these very much and hope the trend will be higher and even more challenging for those who dare to wear them!

The Pigalle Plato comes in a 140mm and a 120 version, i love the 140mm or the Casadei 5.1" version.

  4. Jimmy Choo has some gorgeous high styles too, I love them, very classy! And he sticks to the towering height too (I hope) :)

All shoes are nevertheless just not exceeding the 5"mark, most are maximum 6" heel with a 1.25" platform so maximum 4.75" arch.. (in size 39? so mabe in size 41 they get close to full 5"?)

However they are gorgeous heels anyway!...

I hope the designers would dare to exceed that 5" mark and not just adding more platform as in the Louboutin Daffodile (which are very sexy too nevertheless!)

I think one of the few 'real' 5"+ heels are surprisingly without any platform: the Louboutin Pigalle and Casadei stiletto... (however they come also in a lower style in some shops)http://www.shoptheshoebox.com/patent-pump/24848/177783

    http://shoerazzi.com/selena-gomez-in-casadei/

adding a 1.75" platform in these would create an awesome 7" designerheel with a gorgeous sexy arch and stiletto heel! A real challenge for any celeb/woman that wants to stand out!:)

  5. The pics of Persephone are great in those though!

on first look they seem to have more support than a 'normal' ballet shoe, but they don't? They aren't really balletheels but more like a 8" heel or is she actually standing tiptoe in them? Is the height/arch more extreme than a ballet heel?

Would be great if she would dare to make a video walking in them, even if the walk would not be as elegant and easy for her as in 'normal' ballet heels.

Maybe she would show a walk in town in extreme 18cm stiletto heels, for example those at www.milanoo.com

Anyway I love and respect Persephone for her ability to walk so well in extreme heels...

  6. I think a shoe is meant to be in a certain proportion and look/feel the same in all sizes! so scaling the heel-height up along with the shoesize is better then just a fixed heelheight... If one would want a 6" heel it therefor depends on the shoesize and I think a manufacturer should mention the right heel-height on its advertisement with every size.. (like fuss-schuhe.de does indeed) If the heelheight stays exactly 6" in all sizes someone with size 35EU would definately have a 'ultraheel' only for sitting in them and someone with size 46EU could run the marathon in them (:) maybe a littlebit exaggerated...) and also a manufacturer then could skip the high and low end of the shoesizes for that shoetype as the tiny feet would not be able to wear them (or only if she would dare to:yummy:..) and the very big feet would not like the proportion anymore... Or the manufacturer for example can refer to 6" in a size EU38/39 that would be most the most common size in women as many designerbrands do, thus someone with size 35 or 41 would have about 1/2" lower/higher heel then and a man size 45 maybe a full 7" with that same proportion... if someone with size 35 or a size 43 wants exactly that 6" they should search for a type of shoe that has that height in that particular size.....

  7. The idea of a heel that can be changed/modified in height is tempting and I thought of it before, and so it's nice to see a thread about it:smile:... However the 'ideal' multi-purpose shoe doesn't exist yet? I guess it's difficult to get a stable construction and also a proper arch/support of the foot in every height the heel is modified in and still have an elegant design in all modifications..... And it must not be too dangerous that a heel could collaps more easily, although breaking a very high stiletto heel can be dangerous already in the 'normal' shoes... I like the idea though that one could change the height of the heel from flat or low to ultra-high stiletto just by a switch or click... ! :)

  8. I wonder, with negative articles on the 'higher heeltrend' is bad for womens feet and some whispers that the trend of towering heels is over, what the trend will be: lower heels again or less platform or will designers be stubborn and create even higher heels with higher arches that most women would not able/dare to wear? Already in the highest heels women can show themselves off and get more attention wearing higher heels than all the other women around and wear them with pride (despite a little unstableness maybe)... So it would be certainly a challenge for some to wear even higher/higher arched heels if that would be the next 'high'... How far would the designers go? Just adding more platform as the Louboutin Daffodile to get heels of 6" and higher (which effectively are not much more than 4" heels) or really getting higher arched heels that exceed the 5" mark/arch and maybe women would really challenge designerheels of 'fetish-shoe-heights' like 6" without platform or maybe 8" with 2-2.5" platform? :) Any thoughts?

  9. I must admit GML and DiMarni are my top favorites too, mainly because of the needle thin heels and the heels are just that little bit higher than most other brands... (often full 5" where other brands use the platform to get higher heights and effectively won't be higher than 4-4.5")

But I love the highest Louboutins, the Alti's 160 and of course the classy and high Pigalle (however they have a less high Pigalle also I saw somewhere). Also like the Pigalle the Casadei stiletto heel is beautiful and one of the highest (and also this one comes in a lower style I saw at www.Shoerazzi.com a nice website of celebs in their heels)

I'm curious with some whispers that the towering heels are over what the trend will be, lower heels again or will designers be stubborn and create even higher heels that most women would not dare to wear?

  10. Hi Violet,

Thanks for your answer and nice to have you around...

Yes I can imagine with small feet size 35 (eu) it's almost impossible to wear a full 6"(15cm) heel. 5" with 1"platform is already very high. Did you ever try any higher to see if you could actually stand/walk in them?

I guess the 7" extreme stiletto heels on for example www.milanoo.com still exceed that 5" height in your size 35, but then again in any size that shoe pushes the foot/ankle so extremely forward that the arch is too extreme for almost everybody to stand and walk straight in them anymore (without bending the knees) and would feel like a punishment if you can't sit down in just a few minutes wouldn't it? And the very thin stiletto heel makes them even more 'wobbly'/less supportive and I guess they would be about the ultimate fetish shoe (apart from that 8"Louboutin or a pseudoheel where the heel is taller than the shoe itself and the wearer can only sit/crawl on her knees...)

I saw a comment on that website of Pernilla (the Pernilla in this forum?) that she did wear those 7.1" heels also on a night out the whole evening! Wow! I'm sure she got some stares of people seeing someone walk in those extreme heels! But I hope she could sit down most of the time, or otherwise the challenge would be even bigger than it already is wearing them! Much respect though...

  11. awesome extrem platforms! I like also the 10" and 12" you posted earlier in this thread very much!!... I wasn't a very big fan of platform heels before, but seeing so many nice platforms also designerheels I'm becoming a bigger fan... :irked: they make the heel so much taller! and if the arch is still comparable with a 6 or even 7" heel without platform they are the ultimate fetish heel I think. Is the thin heel still strong enough or extra vulnerable to break and is walking extra difficult due to the height compared with an equally steep shoe without the extreme platform? where to buy these?

  12. Well Majo.

You have very likely right in that Louboutin base their heelheight on size 37.

    But!

I have two pairs Alti 160 mm. One pair brand new size 42 and a pair of 2 year old size 41. The heel of the elderly couple in size 41 is actually higher than the new...

    Robert!

Looking only height, I recommend Alejandro Ingelmo. My pumps/slingbacks both have a heel of 15.5 cm, with a 35 mm platform.

...Thanks for the explanations. I'm aware that bigger sizes are likely to have a higher heel to keep the same proportions which is good..

I really love most high designershoes, and the Pigalle stays one of the most beautiful designs of heels I think and effectively still one of the highest designerheels...

Those Alejandro Ingelmo shoes are really great too!! I didn't know his shoes. I love the "Grace" and "Sophia" shoes, awesome!!!:irked: But then again also these have effectively a 4"/10cm heel (resp. 120mm heel with 20mm platform and 140mm heel with 40mm platform)

So as most magazines cry out that the trend of the heels gets higher and higher and more difficult to wear anymore, it's most of all the platform that gets higher to achieve a higher heel, but effectively all heels stay about that 4-4.5" and finding among all these designershoes a shoe with a 'true' 5" heel or higher is not easy as I love that beautiful foot-position in a 'true' 5" heel.. (or 5.5" in size 40-42 or even 6" in sizes 44+ for the men that want to feel the same experience in height and arch..)

Anyone compared the Pigalle vs Pigalle Plato? Is the Pigalle Plato heel effectively exactly the same as the 'normal' Pigalle for example? If so, does the platform/total height of the shoe makes them even more difficult to walk in than the original Pigalle or about the same also?

    Roberto

  13. Those Louboutin Alti 160s are just awesome!!:irked: I love the Pigalle and the Pigalle with litlle platform too. Effectively they are about 5"/12.5cm high as most other designerheels are 'only' 4-4.5" high if you count the heel minus platform... I think even the Daffodile heels aren't full 5" due to the big platform, but I love those too! Was great to see Victoria Beckham on them while pregnant whole day long on the royal wedding! Respect! What are effectively the highest designerheels currently? anyone knows? These Pigalles/Alti/ some heels of GML or Brian Atwood, DiMarni maybe? Any designerbrand/celeb spotted with heels higher than 5" effective heelheight? Where did you buy these and how do they walk actually? Already went outside/walk in town on pavements etc? Greetz Roberto

  14. I can 'walk' in a 16cm/6.25" pair of heels with no platform (in black size 42 eu from www.fuss-schuhe.de) but then what do you call walking?!! I think many around here own a pair of 6"or even 7" heels and wears them sometime indoors, but actually wear them going out and walk in an elegant way only few can I think, and I have much respect for the one who does!!

I'm kind of wobbly still and for sure when wearing them longer than 15min without sitting down and on hard floors it's more difficult than carpet or other surface where the heel slightly sinks... I have a pair of 18cm/7.2" heels but even standing in them is very hard without bending the knees...

I don't have any lower heels in my size, (I think it's less exciting when a heel can be walked in with ease) but I think I can manage a 12.5cm/5" heel and walk quite 'normal' in them for some time. I'm going to get a pair someday in that height (or similar arch with platform) or a 14cm/5.5" heel that probably is the perfect heel where the foot is in a vertical position and with practice the wearer still can walk elegantly in...

Any woman that walks even in town/shopping etc with great elegance in anything higher than 12.5cm/5" deserves great respect in my opinion!:irked:

  15. That's what I mean too, I don't want a woman in pain at all, but I love the look of it when she's taking the challenge of wearing a higher heel than she is used to and must concentrate and placing her foot careful onto the ground with every step but still looks elegant! Not when she's walking with her knees very bend or very wobbly or the heel flips inward/outward etc... You know what I mean.....:) But then again i have so much respect for the trained heel-wearer that is able to walk very elegant and fast in 6"+ heels as if it were sneakers! Just awesome if a girl can, but it might arouse me more if it looks like a challenge for her on slightly 'too high' heels... :) Roberto

  16. These 'shoes' are very thrilling, so called 'pseudo-heels' with the heel being too long and not able to stand on them. Maybe if the heel is just slightly too long it might be possible with very flexible feet? Maybe a balletdancer or any of the extreme heel wearers here have some kind of pseudoheel in her collection and able to stand up in them? That would be the ultimate punishment/bondage-heel when only with very much effort you just might be able to get the foot to touch the ground and stand up/walk some steps.... From which height is a heel really too high to even stand on anymore even for a well-trained ultraheel-wearer? Roberto

  17. I would help/assist her with pleasure and not wanting any girl to hurt herself for sure! But I must admit it's somehow arousing to see a girl walking/struggling in 'too-high' heels on difficult surfaces/pavements/downhill/stairs etc.., or having to walk very careful in some situation to stay in balance.. I think that's even more arousing than a girl that walks with great ease in high heels... (I'd say her heels aren't high enough then:) )

  18. No pain would not arousing me much I think, but I admit apart from the beauty of seeing a woman walking elegant in really high heels it also does arouse me seeing a woman wearing 'too-high-heels' and she's really struggling/trying to balance in them... So I think it's more thrilling to see a girl trying really hard to walk in ultra-high stilettos on difficult surfaces in public than the girl walking with such a great easy in heels, although I have so much respect for the woman that learned to walk in them with ease also! The 'limiting/kind of bondage'- part of it is also arousing somehow I think... Roberto

  19. those Shuh's are very nice, Nina at the Girls only section bought a pair in black I read. They kind of look like the Louboutin Pigalle, but might be somewhat less expensive! A very simple but oh so sexy and elegant high heeled shoe. I like it when the heel is place as far as possible backward. How do they walk? Are they difficult for someone with not much high heel experience?

  20. I think these boots are just AWESOME! Very extreme in total height (9"/22cm) ánd effective height (over 6"/16cm), I 'd say almost the ultimate shoe/boot!! Would be great to have them as overknees! How is walking in those? That must be damn hard to walk properly isn't it?!, 16cm is not easy, but with an additional 6cm with that platform it makes an extra challenge!? Anyone dared to go out/shopping in town with those on his/her feet? Greetz from Holland Roberto

  21. I have those same pair, also ordered from Ebay. They are really high, 18cm!! (7"+) indeed too high to walk in properly for most people I think, it's more like balancing and difficult (for me) to keep the knees straight and the feet hurt quickly. Quality is not very good no, and need to tie the laces tightly in order not to let the foot slide forward...

  22. HI guys,

Both boots are just awesome! I love them, so extreme! Those black boots, I think I saw them somewhere for sale, you could check out the dutch site www.hogehakken.nl

Both over 7"? And you (Shedevil) say you went to a bar in them? WOW respect..., I would say that must be too high to walk in properly, (I know I have problems keeping the knees straight in such extreme heels) and I only had them on just indoors/bedroom/sitting most of the time  But walk into town, pavements, stairs, etc...?! And you say 'comfortable'!? I hope you could sit most of the time:smile:
