  1. I think almost anything with a block heel would be fine. I have two pairs of ankle boots with similar size heels that I've gone out in before. One pair the heel is 3 1/4", the other over 4 1/2". I wouldn't think this pair looks to be any higher.

Thanks for the input, jwhite 44, it's much appreciated!

Yep, I think they're no more than 3,5", which neatly would add a bit to my 6'1" height. Just hope it gets a little warmer here again (-7 C ~ 20 F now) so I can use them.

  2. Hi, I was thinkin about buying these shoes (please see attached 37389000_t1.jpg). Would they be suitable with long jeans or similar, possibly street heeling? The heel is quite high, but the style is more 'neutral' as it were... Opinions are very much valued! Was by the way thinking about buying a few sandals too (also attached) but those are more for fun (and/or indoors, this time of the year :)) /A.

  3. Those are awesome Awtucs...I will have to get a pair I think.

    Thanks bootmebaby!

Yeah I really love them too; the feeling, the length, everything (apart from the ankle/foot ache then )

By the way, the boots on your avatar is amazing, is it perhaps you on the picture?

  4. How are peep toes to wear in colder climates?

Guessing little short of a 5" heel, with maybe 1/2"-3/4" platform?

    Assuming you meant my post:

quite cold-ish, I would guess (I haven't tried, and neither has my wife, at least not outdoors, yet

And I think you're correct regarding the height; a small size as it is (~US6½).

  5. Bought these lovely boot on a sale today; only in sz Eu 37 for my wife. The charming sales people (a lovely young woman & nice young man) started joking, and I went along "too bad you don't have it in 43/44" otherwise, I would have bought another pair for me... "Would have loved to see the face on people once you went outside with them on" & "NN, the young man, would surely have gone along with you" The guy actually did check their stock, but they only had up to 40 or something; if only they know I wasn't joking (that much ). Anyway, a very nice experience it was, so I ended up buying another pair for the wife... /A.

  6. Hi, and welcome, from west Sweden too - nice to have you here! Thanks for the "House, M.D." tip; hasn't actually notice, even though it's one of my favourite series (and having quite a thing for High heels ) Also, you're lucky to have girlfriend sharing your obsession (my doesn't wear heels that high, but she likes the look of them). Take car & see you around, I hope, A.

  7. Nice shoes in deed! My wife has a similar pair (even though designer ones we bought in Italy, a few years ago, a great catch @ €60 (previously €240, or so it said )! Maybe a dress like the one I've attached could match, or would it be too much camo? Another possibility would be a mini denim or leather skirt, and camo top, or possibly the other way around... /A.

  8. Hot shoes, in deed!

I'd loved to wear them, if we only celebrated Halloween that way here in Sweden...

Nevertheless, bought these great shoes http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_tSH9pZD9bek/SNw_If_qlGI/AAAAAAAAGA8/aD5dso3HHhg/s400/exotic+pole+dancing+platform+stilettos+pink+1.jpg; tried them out immediately as they arrived yesterday (pictures coming up) and found them reasonably easy to walk in, as long as you keep them vertical (and don't trip on the platform )

    /A.
