  1. kerm191, nice sharing... morpho, go and dare, as kiltsrgr8 suggests, take it easy and chose small walks. One of my first times was far away from my place in a crowded shopping center... The pleasure of walking in heels was bigger than the risk of being spotted. Try 2-3" and increase height along with your confidence. If you do not want to be spotted, then stay at home... I think it's the pleasure of walking in heels that drives us. OK, we are different from other men who walk in flats, so what. When I walk in the streets with my 5" clogs, I like it. Full stop. I do it not to be noticed, but because I like it. If somebody notices (and this happen), either he/she does not care, either he/she thinks I am mad, either he/she giggles, or he/she thinks it's great. Either way, the final point is in the pleasure I take in wearing heels. So do it and take the risk to enjoy it! :P Marc

  2. Hi Marc,

that should have been me who has written this contribution :o

    cheers

Micha, good to know this side of the Atlantic has the same views on high heels for men. :)

  3. My 2 pence on this. I think overall, going out in heels is a matter of liking walking in heels. I do not seek reactions when I do so, but sure I expect some because heels are not common for men. When you dress like a man and wear heeled boots or clogs, like I do, almost nobody cares or even notices. If some notices, it is sometimes by asking the whys and the hows. The only "bad" reactions I had came from teenagers or some narrow minded people, and that was just a matter of "look at this guy's shoes" and some giggles... I do not care anymore. Of course, if you wear pink glitter 7 inch platform, expect reactions. That's surely what you are looking for... But, we do not see lot of women with such shoes either and if a girl was wearing such in the street, she would attract some reactions. I love walking in heels, I love feeling the height, I love the look of heels, so this in natural for me and behave like I was wearing "normal" boring men's shoes. Therefore, I do not expect more reactions from others. Marc

  4. Jeff, Bubba and Dawn, That's for the reasons you are talking about (non-discrimination) that I like the USA. Very few Europeans understand american people, seeing in only Bushy warriors invading poor countries for their oil.. :) Wearing heels or having alternative behavior in the States may be easier that in any other countries in the world... Let's continue wearing heels and help changing the world to more diverstity and respect. Marc

  5. Nice pumps Jeff, I would never wear such shoes at the office, not even sure I would go out with them... But after all, pumps are really nice. What was the reaction of your coworkers when you first wore them at the office? :) Marc

  6. I agree with fgwjon. The ideal woman is the one who shares your views and interests, and that let you be yourself. My wife wears 4" when we are together and she looks great. When we met (long time ago now...) she did not wear heels higher that 1"... Now she wears 4" pumps, 6" platforms, 4/5" mules and she loves it... And the best was that she now enjoy seeing me wearing my 4"clogs and boots... That was for both of us a learning process and that's good. :) Marc
