Guess what... my coworker friend called me up to her office today for another photo shoot..

This time she is wearing some awesome Steve Madden heels.. I measured them.... they are just over 5 1/2" heels with a 3/4" platform...

Happy, Yes she is truly a remakrable person. she was special before her accident, and now even after she really is set on moving her life foward. It was very unfortunate but she tries to see the good in a situation and makes the best of it. Just to fill you in a bit more... when we are out we usually get looks from people close to us... because not that it's something you see on here.... but I have always had a terrible stutter when i speak.... so we say to each other that "I can't talk and she can't walk haha just a little humor to make our days go by If anyone wants to know more I am always happy to give insight. Bubba: Last year I actually was at a halloween party dressed as a woman and my g/f was dressed as a man and i wore 5" heels. At the time she thought I was just being a good sport for the evening... I have talked to her about me wearing heels and right now she is a little uncomfortable with it, but we are working through it. She definately looks better in a heel then myself hahaha and Yes unfortunately if you look online you see ALOT of information and pictures about amputees etc. some are great and some are not so. I will refrain from posting any pics right now due to them always being spread on the net.

Well I have to respond to this because If you read some of my other posts, I am currently back involved with a g/f of mine who has only one leg. Just to catch everyone up: I dated her for a short time in college when she had both legs. She was stunning and loved to wear sexy 5" heels. I graduated lost touch for some years and then saw her out one night, only to discover that she had been in an accident and lost her right leg above the knee. We began talking and I have been back dating for a year now. She vowed to get back to wearing a high heel no matter what and she can do a 3" and 4" with ease. She is a little uneasy in a 5" heel, because her only mobility is the use of crutches... so If anything happens to her only leg/foot it will be an issue for her. She is very graceful on her crutches it's amazing... but it come with practice and unfortunately a huge loss. She has moved on and lucky to be alive... but Yes I have seen first hand a sexy one legged woman wearing a heel.... P.S. she does have a 6" heel, but she never leaves the house in that.... most just for hanging around with me higheeluv

I found her entire Flickr site. amazing woman who can wear those 7" leopard pumps in public. She has a video of her wearing them to her car... and plenty of pictures of her walking in the mall with them on... Many pictures to browse through... does anyone know more about her.. we need to get her to join this site

raincat, Awesome story my friend I was hoping it would go on much longer.. Did the topic of her using crutches ever come up. Did she have any type of injury to her legs or did she just use crutches all the time ti help with her wearing 5 1/2" heels. As I have stated before I know a woman who uses crutches and wears a high heel but she unfortunately only has one leg...... Very nice story higheeluv

I'm not sure if anyone has read this post lately but today I was surfing and came across some updates to a site called "Dream-Amp" It's obviously a site that combines beauty and sexiness in addition to the women only having one leg.

Jennifer is one of the models there and despite her having one leg she is extremely attractive. To some she would be perfect because she has one leg. She has released sme new photosets and they include her wearing some very high heels. I have included links to her sample pictures for you to enjoy. Again as we stated before it might actually be easier for her to navigate on a single heel and crutches due to the extra support the crutches give her.

Puffer, You are correct in your thinking about crutches actually giving a woman with one leg MORE support as she navigates on a single high heel. I have had the pleasure of being involved with a woman with only one leg. Having known her before her leg loss she loved to wear classic 4-5" pumps and vowed to do so once she got her life back in order after her terrible loss. Although I was not with her during the time of her amputation I am dating her know albeit long distance, but we are able to see each other almost once a month. Getting back to the point, she has since begun to experiment a bit with her favorite pumps. she is able to get around her place and when we go out to dinner quite well although there are times where she is a bit tenative... uneven surfaces, steps, slick floors or certain types of carpets.... All in all she does well and feels that the crutches give her additional side to side support that when she had two legs and wore a pair of heels she did not have. Would she love to have her leg back.... well absolutely...... but she makes the most of her current life and tries not to look in the rearview.... Higheeluv

I also agree with Alih... It is possible. There are many amputees who have successfully been able to wear a high heel, both in conjunction with a prosthesis which has a special foot to accomodate a heel and also as a "stand alone" with a pair of crutches. A prosthetic foot I beleive could handle a heel of about 2-3 inches in height, whereas in this picture we all know this woman is wearing a heel of approx. 6" http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/5...nchheelyc7.jpg

Yes there are plenty of yahoo groups out there as well, in addition to many you tube clips that do portray a woman with one leg navigating successfully on one leg and a high heel.

J-Lo is one heck of a woman..... Marc Anthony is a REAL lucky man..... In my opinion she has one of the best pairs of legs out there and coupled with incredible heels makes one sexy package in my eyes. That being said once I read all the other post about this topic I was VERY happy to see WICKETS add his 2 cents and even bless us with some even sexier pictures of his woman's heels and legs. I have to certainly agree with him that those two pairs of heels have to be the sexiest ones I have seen on BERNADETTE. (to be clear I have not seen her in person, just pictures here he has uploaded) On her feet the lighter pink heels actually look higher even though they are listed at 5.5" heels. Even in the photograph of her sitting on the table they look higher than the 6" ones. Ether one of these heels makes me get all tingly inside especially when a very sexy woman such as BERNADETTE is modeling them for us...... If I babbled on to much it's the trans I am in due to the stunning heels and legs. WICKETS........more please MORE!!!!!!

I can certainly speak on Wickets behalf here. I have known him a while now...... His girlfriend has a career that does not allow her to wear heels on the job (safety regulation) her OLD job she did however wear 4" and 5" heels to work and sometimes would slip into higher ones for when he came to visit. Currently WHENEVER they are together or go out she loves to dress up for him. I know specifically this was just a Sunday night out for dinner in her red leather skirt and 5" ankle strap pumps. She has ALOT of heels and she wears them ALL....she does not just pose in them.... she does have a few she cannot walk in well enough to go out in but I am sure she wears them indoors.
