  1. Awesome boots Hoverfly! I have a pair from Cowboy Boots USA with the 5" heel which I find difficult to walk in. How are the 4" heels to walk in?

Just got my boots to day. I have them custom made, the best fit I have had so far with my thin foot and ankles. 4" Heels Cowboy Boots USA on Ebay.

  2. I have ten pairs of cowboy boots. All of them have an extreme X pointed toe but the heel heights vary from 1" - 5". I find that the shorter heels (1" - 3") work best with jeans and that the higher heels (31/2" - 5") work best with dress slacks.

  3. The boots in my avatar are the 5" heels from Miguel Jones. They are a bit difficult to walk in. I would like to get a pair with 4" heels but at this point the only options at that heel height in my size have rounded toes and I too like the pointed toes.

Been away from this site for a long time but found it and this thread googling miguel jones cowboy boots mexico. I just got a pair of Jones boots from his ebay site. They were listed as 5" heels but really are 3" high. I'll keep them because they really look nice and are probably a lot more comfortable than a 5"" heel, although the 5" heel attracted me because I do crossdress and the boots seem to be unisex based on the ebay photos. Since I can't pass I thought that the boots with Gloria Vanderbilt Jeans and a woman's turtleneck would make a neat ensemble. Anyway, they feel wide but heavy boot socks take care of that and add to the comfort. I really like the extreme pointy toe which looks like it should pinch but of course it's designed so the end of your toe is almost two inches from the tip. Bottom line, these are great well made boots at a great price IMO. I'll have to read the entire thread to see what others have said and see if any of you are wearing the 5" heel and what you think about it.

  4. Even with the seat all the way back if I try driving in anything higher than 4" and my legs gets scrunched up. I have tried driving in the 5" heels shown in my Avatar and it is very uncomfortable.

  5. This was my first experience with a heel as high as 5" and, at least for my feet, they ran just a tad loose.

I know a few members here have purchased boots from CowboybootsUSA. I was just wondering what your thoughts were on sizing? I purchased one of his new styles with the 4" heel and I thought they ran a liitle small. I'd like to order his brand new style with the 5" heel and was just wondering if I should go up a size? I have to say I was very happy with the quality, pricing and service. He definitely fills a much needed niche. Any comments? Thanks.

  6. I have a pair of these awesome 5" heel boots from cowboybootusa. They are awesome and I would loke to post photos of them. Any advice on how to post photos would be great. I am new member and am still becoming familiar with the site.
