  1. Hello!

I bought myself these LINK and I have to tell you I love them!

They are a real fun to walk, but it is straining oyu much more than just walking in high heels. You have a constant feeling of "hanging in the air". after about one hour of walking around at home I had the feeling my calfs will freeze or cramp. So they are challange to walk, but a great fun nevertheless. I kust hoped the top material were a bit stronger and lether like than it is.

  2. in my experiance, it is not only the heel high which is not really correct, but it is also the material of the shoe, which tends to be rather thin and fragile under stress. I have managed to tear a pair when trying to walk.

  3. @ xray2

Thank you very much for your input on this toppic. It was very enlightning, I admit. Especially the explanation of the tendon functioniong more like a spring than a rigid material. This is certainly teh case expecially if you take a look at the collagen's molecular helix structure

On the other hand, and I hope you will agree with me on that, the key to better and longer ability to sustain the strain of high heels is a good trained leg, with predominantly well trained muscular mass? or not?

I consider the tendons secondary in this calculation.

  4. I have a copy of Regent Shoe's (London) 1958 catalogue which includes what they called tip-toe shoes. A pair of Oxford ballet shoes cost £14, 14s, 0p or the equivalent of £279 allowing for inflation today.

    Richy thanks!

    1) That is quite a price surge:-)

    2) Doas anybody know who was the inventor of Ballet boots in the form as we know today? I guess the developement was there as long as high heels were arrousing to someone. Obviously the increased hight of the heel led to an increase in stimulus and ballets are the logical consequence of it.

But doas anyone know names of shoemakers or designersd having this idea first?

  5. Hi everyone!

I was wondering how many different "metallic" shoes we can find.

I stumbeled lately across this picture:

    http://elitechoice.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/high_chair_shoes.jpg

and I found it really interesting.

    Any idea who makes them?

Do you also know any other high heels or balelt boots made of steel?

I know there are a few lurking on the web, and I thought we could bring some together.

    I own myself this pair:

and even though they are quite unstable to walk (they wabble quite badly) I'm abit proud to have them. Only a shame there was no remake of them or a 2.0 version.

This is for example something hard :-) :

    any idea who did it?

    or this:

I find this idea quite spicy!

  6. There is a cool kink to this Heel-less trend developing lately.

These soes for instance are sold via e-bay quite a lot. I got myself also a pair and I was quite happy with them. The Feeling of walking is completely different and the missing heel certainly trains - or strains - your calfs. certainly an interesting idea.

Juhu! I got my 1st star as Silver Member!

  7. Well, I read this toppic with suspence, even though this thread has died a bit in the last few years. Probably it sprung up somewhere new, but I fout it now here and that's why I post -here. As for me, I'm 100% straight. I do occasionaly cross-dress at home. Otside untill now only on carnaval - But then really heavy! :-) ok, ok. Well "I once had a girl or should I say, she once had me". Anyway she was quite dominant or a "power-woman" - only to state it more subtle way. I was really afraid of confessing her my love for high heels to her, whilst I even managed to pursuade her to wear balletboots for occasional sex. She hated but she just did it for me and she said this openly. You can imagine that it is a bit more difficoult to retain the errection when you know that your couterpart is just doing it reluctantly. When I suggested if I should wear them because it would be fun for me, she almost freaked out. I think if I would have stayed with her, and confess her my weekness for high heels, she would either leave me or, I would become her cucold-husband probably. Anyway, I left her. I met a gorgeous brasilian girl, who was much easier with this theme. She was quite open and did not mind me wearing high heels of different hights inside and outside. Infact sometime she got angry at me why I bought myself a pair and for her none in the same style? Needless to say, she caught my heart, I married her and now our 2nd kid i on the way. However, through the times we have accumulated about 100 pairs of high heels which we have now deposited in a specially constructed wardrobe. About a year ago, my wife's friend from her language class (also a brazilian girl) visited us. At that time I have stopped hiding my passion for high heels infront of people who visit us, so a few pairs were lying on the flor. When she learned that I also use high heels she was eager to see me walk. So i did. Her responce? - Can you also teach me to walk like this? About 3 months later her visa was ending and she asked us if she could move to us in order to get a different visa. We agreed and as a welcome gift she recived a pair of TOPSHOP high heels. Now we almost live as a happy family of 4(,1) and I cannot stop thinking how lucky I am to live with two gorgeous Brazilian girls who share my passion for high heels. They continue learning German, and we share the burdon of rasing kid(s) together. Downside to it is of course that my expences for heels rose a bit, but to see the girls in 6 ans 7 inch heels and even in ballets now and then, repays the extra work to full extent. Long story short - stick to your belive, be yourself and be good to others. Then no mater what wear, people will respect and treat you good as well.

  8. I also have to congratilate you on your Heels! Now you have the Domina pleaser for 3 years or so. How did they do in the long therm? Break up or survived the strains? Did you als alter your bike to ride in ballets? I actually did this ince on my scooter when goung from Würzburg to Munich. It was a ride of about 6 hours and In the middle of a way I had to refuel. I parked at the pump closest to the chash-desk, nevertehless teh few steps I had to take were still quite hard. Let me know how you do now! :-) Cheers!

  9. Honestly a nice storey and a cute pic. If you don't mind I'd like to suggest a few styling hints. If it is not too cold I'd suggest, a short jeans pants, maybe a bit longer than hotpants, but so that they leave a bout 3-5 inch space between the shaft and the trousers. In this place a peek on stockings (can be even thick an non transparent if it is too cold). Then a longer jeans jacket, or this jacket but in connection with a broad belt or a small corset the covers the top of trousers, and the shirt. Again, it is just a suggestion that I wanted to tell you. It is not nescessary a must :-)

  10. Irrespective of what everybody was saying here, I managed to get myself a pair of Topshop Spice heels. Gosh I love them just as much!

In my1st post I merely wanted to express my joy about the comfort the heels give and thus their high quality. As I said, I spend in them 16 hours straight in the rio airport, through the customs (the custom lady gave me just an envious whim :wavey:), then at charels de gaulle airport and finally in Frankfurt. I even did not get a blister.

No matter what slutty or what-so-ever image there might be, these shoes are great!

  11. If I were you I'd change the shoes to size 9. Then put the toe-box on the edge of a table and see if the heel is perpendicular to the table or not and if it throws the whole shoe a bit to the front. If it does, check how much. Usually in size 9 about a centimeter or 1/3 to 1/2 inch. Then let shorten the heels. Tell the shoemaker that these heels have a metallic rod in them and that he might be difficoult to to grind/cut off. At last, the idea of having a 1/4 of a stressball in the toe-box, as Imelda suggested is a good one. I have tested it, and it helps for me. But as at9 stated previously, the shoes have to snug tightly around the inshoe, or middle of your foot. Let us know if all worked out well, Have fun ballettbooting!! Cheers :-)

  12. I think googleing or reading about "Haglund's deformity" on wikipedia might help you. Nevertheless try to contact an orthopeadic or Trauma surgery medic with this. Or of course continur with high heels if it helps you :-) You are welcome to write me a PN with questions
